Quidditch Through the Ages Illustrated Edition

This is a beautifully illustrated edition of Quidditch Through The Ages and worth every penny. This large format, hard cover book is a collector's item and richly illustrated on every page. Since the original volume is quite thin, I was a little worried that the illustrated edition may not be worth the money. However, it absolutely is and I encourage every Harry Potter fan to purchase it. Ms Gravett is an exceptional illustrator and has enormous skill at illustrating a wide variety of artistic styles, including medieval tapestries and drawings that you would swear were of actual items! There are also two multi page fold outs of illustrations in the book. The illustrations really made the book come to life and I am so glad that it is part of my collection. I can't think how this volume could be improved upon. It is a sight to behold. Literally.

This is a gorgeous book with beautiful gold embossing on the cover. Perfect for the Harry Potter fan book collection!

Oh.... what can I say about this absolutely gorgeous book - it's beyond good! An absolute must for any self-respecting Harry Potter fan, adult or child (are there any children who read HP now or are we all grown up and still loving it?). It's so beautifully illustrated and totally hilarious and whilst you're reading it, you'll get so immersed, you'll actually start to believe that Quidditch is a real sport and wonder why the latest match results aren't on the telly on a Saturday night along with the Football! Buy it now and keep it for Christmas - these books will probably become scarce later on. Plus, it's 'annual' sized, so it's pretty impressive. I did actually think it would be a lot smaller so I was well-pleased when I saw how big it was.

As expected, every page of it, is a work of art. Kuddos to the Illustrator!

This Illustrated edition is just so stunning! There is a certain vibe that every illustrator brings with these editions of the Hogwarts Library books. And with this book I feel medieval vibes or maybe just Quidditch vibes, lol. Emily Gravett has not only captured the world of Quidditch through her brilliant skills but also added to it. This book SCREAMS Quidditch and I feel at peace having purchased it, lol. PS. I was also surprised at how early the book arrived AAAND, what a great condition it was in. Really satisfied!!

I really adore this book and truly recommend it for all Wizarding world lovers. I hadn’t expected it to be so good so I was pleasantly surprised and there is so much to look at in the book. The book itself is also much larger then I expected.

This is a great addition to my Harry Potter collection. I have the paperback version but I really enjoy this illustrated version. It goes well along with all my other illiterated editions. The pictures are a great take on the wizarding sport.
