Great affordable nightstand stylish and Functional Accent!
Great nightstand! Instructions on how to set it up are easy to use (sort of like IKEA). I have had it for several years now and I like how it turned out and how the longevity of it is.The Winsome Wood Eugene Accent Table in walnut is a perfect blend of style and practicality. The rich walnut finish adds a touch of elegance to any room, and its simple, sleek design makes it versatile enough to fit in a living room, bedroom, or hallway. It’s sturdy, with a solid construction that ensures it will last for years. The size is perfect for holding lamps, drinks, or small decor items without taking up too much space. Assembly was easy, and the table is lightweight yet durable. Overall, this is a beautiful, affordable, and well-made piece of furniture that complements any home décor. Highly recommend!

Second purchase
This is a second purchase because I like the first one I purchased a few years back. Replacing chairs in my den, I now need another side table so I purchased another one of these. They are not too large but have the storage room I need. The first one I used a hole saw on the backside of the drawer to put a multi-port USB for various chargers for my tech. Works great. I will probably do the same for this one. The unit itself is not a heavy built piece of furniture for generational passing but functional for my needs now. The price is such that I don’t have to make a large investment where I feel the need to keep forever. For the cost this is sturdy enough and doesn’t fall apart. With kids and grandkids it is perfect as I don’t expect it to be an heirloom but just strong enough to last a few years and the first one is still going strong. Very pleased with this purchase.

A good nightstand at an affordable price.
This nightstand is good for someone that is looking for a simple and affordable option. It is quite a decent nightstand that does its job but does not exceed expectations.First off, the materials are not made up of the finest pieces of wood. The pieces are quite thin and seem fragile. When I was assembling it, I was afraid of being too rough with them and accidentally breaking them. The piece of wood that goes in, as the front of the drawer, seemed as if it was peeling and deteriorating in the bottom corners. This was very concerning when I first began the assembly process, especially since that was a piece that would always be exposed. Luckily, after fully assembling the stand, I realized that the peeling parts weren’t too noticeable. On the other hand, the assembly was not too difficult. I had to stop halfway through the assembly and then continued it a few hours later and I was able to pick it back up easily. The only complaint I have about the assembly is that none of the parts were labeled. This sometimes made the assembly confusing and bothersome. Some parts do seem similar, but they can sometimes be different sizes or just different parts altogether. I managed to assemble different parts of the nightstand incorrectly which became frustrating. However, those problems could easily be fixed by labeling the components of the nightstand. So far, the nightstand has held up well. Once fully assembled, it is quite sturdy. I have placed a multitude of items on it and it has not shown any signs of giving out. It has not received any scratches or signs of damage at all. I have younger siblings that have spilled liquids on it and I was able to wipe everything off without any problems. No matter what material they have poured on the nightstand, it has not received any permanent damage. It is impossible to notice that anything has been poured on it once it has been cleaned up. For the two months that I’ve had it, it has held up well and I haven’t encountered any major issues with it.Initially, the drawer and the cabinet both initially gave me a concern. Once the drawer is fully pulled out, it begins to sag. This is one of the flaws that the nightstand has and one of the places where it is evident that some corners were cut. It is not a big deal to me as I rarely ever must pull out the drawer completely, but it is noticeable that the drawer is not well made. Nonetheless, the drawer houses whatever I need without any concern of it not holding up. On the other hand, the piece of wood holding up the items stored in the cabinet could be concerning. Most of the pieces of wood had a place where you would squeeze it into and then secure it with a screw, that is not true for the bottom piece. It is a very thin piece of wood and is not secured in any way, besides sitting on top of the inner edges of the frame of the nightstand. To me it is not a big deal as it only stores my video games and movies. However, I would not recommend storing anything heavy within there as it is difficult to guarantee that the thin piece of wood would be able to hold it. To reiterate, do NOT store your favorite bowling ball in the cabinet. The Winsome accent table is a good bargain. Although not the highest quality, it gets the job done and does not cause any problems. At this price range there is not much more that one could ask for. It is not heavy duty, but it should not be expected to be. Regardless of its more budget-friendly materials, it still makes for a great looking nightstand that should last for a fair amount of time.

Looks nice, good enough for the price
I bought two in "espresso" for use as nightstands at about $45 each including Prime shipping here on Amazon.Assembly is simple. You do need to take some care to keep things square, but the holes are pre-drilled so they generally go in straight. You need a screwdriver for that, and you can use the backside of it to tap the hole plugs in. Overall design is good and sturdy enough for its purpose.Side panels, rear panel, cupboard floor and bottom floor panels are some sort of fiberboard or Masonite with veneer held captive in slots. The structure makes a very slight panel-vibrating sound when tapped. At 16 lbs assembled it is not a piece of furniture that "thuds" when moved. The cupboard floor is just a drop in piece of fiberboard with no veneer. It is not held in place by anything but gravity, and this almost spoils an otherwise nice design. I'd bump my review up a star of the floor was at least held captive. It would only take slotting the bottom beams like all the other beams' panel slots. I don't know why this one piece was just left to drop in!The corner foot beams, cross beams above and below drawer, the top, and all four sides of the drawer are wood. The wood is soft and slightly brittle, so be very careful when assembling. I chipped off a very tiny splitter off a corner when assembling one. Covered up fine, but be careful. The finish does not look super durable so you'll probably need to be careful with what is scratching or dampening the top. I wasn't expecting a perfect heavy lacquer finish at this price point, though. It will do well enough for at least a few years, but you won't be handing this down to your kids, or even yourself 10 years down the road. The drawer and door handles are metal (heavy, iron maybe?) with machine screws. The door is a held by a single magnet on the top edge, no latch, and it works well enough.Overall they look pretty good. I'm sure with some basic care they'll last a while, but this is not 30-year, heirloom furniture. If you want that level of quality look for something made with a hardwood and consider at least doubling your budget.
