Excellent Dematting Brush – Durable and Effective!
This is an amazing brand, the dematting brush works incredibly well on my dog’s thick and tangled fur. What I really love is that the blades don’t wear out easily, even after frequent use. They stay sharp and effective without hurting my pet’s skin. The brush is made of strong, high quality materials, so it doesn’t bend or break like cheaper ones I’ve tried before. It feels sturdy in the hand and is very easy to clean after grooming. If you’re dealing with mats or knots, this brush is a must-have. It saves time, reduces shedding, and keeps my dog’s coat smooth and healthy.Highly recommend!

Great for my Bernadoodle
Using for a few months now and it works well, however, BE CAREFUL. It is VERY sharp, and I sliced the palm of my hand left hand (using it with my right hand). If you use it carefully, it does a great job getting through matted fur. I have a Bernadoodle that is more poodle, and his fur mats very easily. If I don't brush and comb him every day (for at least an hour) he starts getting matts. This gets through them easily enough....just be careful....for your self and your dog. This is made for right handed people, fyi.

Matting be gone !
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this since 2019 I have three Pomeranians all of which have had some type of matting behind ears on their body. It is very sharp, so just be careful, but this never loses its sharpness I mean whatever Matting your pet has with some patience and being gentle you just kind of cut at it. It will come out. This tool is very effective and I’ve learned this from my former groomer now so I groom my dogs myself I will highly recommend this is a great deal. Will last you for a very long time keep it dry and it stays sharp .

Pretty good tool - SHARP
Pretty good tool for helping with matted dog hair. I have a standard Poodle and she HATES being brushed and unfortunately doesn’t get brushed as often as needed. I bought this to hopefully help when she’s gone too long. I did part of her coat - begrudgingly by my spoo - and boy did it cut through her hair. She definitely hates it and doesn’t want me to brush her with it. Nothing new. It does do the job. Take your time, however; this tool is BERY SHARP and I can see where rushing will create injuries to both user and pet.I plan to go in sections a little at a time. She may look like a frizz ball in some areas and a hot matted mess in others, but so be it. She’s survived bad lol haircuts, so she’ll survive this, too.Handle: awkward to change direction. If your brushing down from the left side of the dog, it’s awkward and feels clumsy.Blades: long and very VERY sharpe - be cautious and take extra time brushing out your pet.Easy to use: again, feels a little clumsy when standing or sitting on one side of the pet. I haven’t attempted to switch from left handed to right, so I can’t say how easy it is. I would imagine extra care to switch the blade will be necessary as well.

Irish setter tested
I have an Irish setter with very long hair that gets matted and tangled on a daily basis. I used to just cut out the mats because I couldn't get them out but this tool is excellent and gets through a lot of gunk in my dog's mane.

Best Dematting Comb
Have tried other dematting combs & this one is the best by far. It's comfortable in the hand and works well for matts in double coated dog fur. I have 2 chow chows and could not do without this comb. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for cutting through matted hair
It works really well for dematting our shih tzu whose hair does not get brushed as often as it should. I found it very comfortable to hold and use.

Works wonders for a sheep-haired poodle
I have two poodles with very different hair. My 14-lber has coarse, thick curly hair. He looks like a sheep. Trying to brush his hair is like trying to brush a sheep, and when I shave him, it comes off in a pelt. Admittedly, he does not get brushed a lot, because it's a very difficult job, he's extremely wiggly, and when he doesn't want something done, he flips onto his back and puts his mouth on the tool. He's naughty.I bought this tool as a means to try to start doing a better job grooming him. He has a very long, very cool looking top knot, but it gets soooo tangled, so my hope was I could shave his body and use this dematting rake on his head. It turns out that this tool kept me from having to shave his entire body. I used a slicker brush for as much as I could, and then I switched to this tool. I had to start out shallow, and go deeper with each pass. The amount of fur that was flying out of his haunches was insane. He was very patient, and stood there and let me use this thing on him. Eventually, I was able to use a slicker and then a greyhound comb on him, since this thing got through those knots with absolute ease.A word of caution though is that it is very very sharp. I had taken the cover off, and I got distracted for a second, and I must have run my finger across one of the tines, because the next thing I knew I was bleeding. Make sure when you clean out the hair, you do it from the back side of the tines which are not sharp! happy grooming!
