Nintendo Switch D-Pad Controller (L) - Pokemon: Black & Gold Pikachu (Nintendo Switch)

My girl LOVES this pikachu controller. Bought to replace the OG left joycon. We've had it for a year now and the right OG joycon has started to drift. Wonder if I can buy a right hand side pikachu controller?! Just found my purchase from last year on here and thought I'd share my review that it's actually really fab and works really well. I'd definitely recommend it.

Purchased this as my original joycon got joystick drift and it was driving me mad. This was really easy to sync up and attaches really easily to my switch. I think it looks great even as a mismatching set of joycons. My only bug bear is that it feels a bit cheaper than the original joycon despite being a Nintendo product. Overall just feels a bit plastic-y. Also this isn't compatible with the console mode which is fine for me as a hand held gamer but worth noting. The gold pikachu design is very cute!

If you want a controller that works on the Nintendo screen and the TV then choose something else! This was disappointing to discover when it arrived. All that glitters is not gold! If you’re a Pikachu fan, it looks fantastic but sadly lets you down on functionality!

Cheap and does the job. No wireless or rumble feature though

I should have read the description more thoroughly as this joy-con does not work as a standalone controller, has no rumble feature and only works when attached. This info is in the description, if well hidden. That aside the controller is cheap feeling and glitchy. Would not recommend.

Didn’t realise it only works when connected to the switch and can’t be used wireless (my own fault just didn’t read the full description) does feel very cheap and weak plastic so I don’t think it will last as long as the original more expensive ones. I personally wish I paid more to get them now but if you’re looking for cheaper, non wireless which run the risk of not lasting years then it’s ok

I like that it has the D-pad unlike other Nintendo Joy-cons. Just watch out, this isn't wireless, it has to be used in handheld mode!

Cant play with controller not connected to nintendo

El mando es muy bonito, y funciona perfectamente pero no es inalambrico, o sea, solo puedes jugar conectado a la consola y tampoco vibra, a mi hijo todo eso le daba igual, por eso lo cogimos, pero a lo mejor para jugadores más exigentes se queda corto.
