The install was surprisingly easy. The running boards came with clear, step-by-step instructions, and all the mounting hardware lined up perfectly with my Ram’s frame. I’m no mechanic, but I had them bolted on in about an hour with just basic tools. The fitment was spot-on—no wobbling or weird gaps, just a seamless connection that made it look like they came straight from the factory.These running boards have made my Ram 1500 more practical and sharper-looking, and I’m really happy with them. If you’ve got a 5th gen and you’re thinking about adding some running boards, I’d say go for it—they’re a solid upgrade that ticks all the right boxes.

So far, I have enjoyed the steps. They are very sturdy when mounted correctly. Of course, the installation directions could be much better. Once I got one side done the other went quite easy. Good bang for the buck! I put them on my company Ram Big Horn and they even look good. Good value so go ahead and buy them.

I liked the look of these steps and the price seemed great. They arrived earlier than expected, but both steps were dented on the side. The shipping package was in great condition, so this looks to be a defect from the manufacturer. I attempted a return, but would have to pay for return shipping. Due to the weight I would have to pay $80 to return and be subject to a restocking fee if Onine felt the product was used or if I damaged it. I should have paid a little more and went with a quality product.Updated to 3 stars due to the seller contacting me to try and resolve the issue. I was issued a partial refund for the damaged steps.

Don’t torque the carriage bolts down. Only tighten with ratchet till the nut feels tight otherwise the carriage bolt will break. Will have to get another carriage bolt to replace it. Other than that, they look great on my 2020 1500 Ram.

When we began installing the running boards on our 2019 Ram 1500 we noticed that the bolts on the truck were installed backwards so the last bracket didn't fit properly. We messaged the company and offered to send us a new set of brackets to fix the issue. The new brackets arrived within 3 days and we were able to find one that fit. The boards look great, feel sturdy and are easy to clean and care for.

The company claims these are tested and safe to 500lbs. They are not. Mine bent after less than two weeks and I weigh 225lbs. I returned, or tried to, mine. They could not support less than half of the weight they claim to support for less than two weeks.Then there’s the sound they make. When rocks bounce off of them, or you step on them, as mentioned by other reviewers, they sound so cheaply made. The sound is of cheap metal, it’s high pitched and not pleasant at all.Installation was smooth, but don’t follow the recommended torque on the lugs or you will snap all the lugs off the bottom of your truck. How much this will cost you depends on how many of the lugs you snap off. They recommend up to 15lbs of torque. At 12lbs they will snap off brand new lugs. The bottom line though is that these running boards will most likely cost you more than the actual cost of the running boards in damage to your truck. Mine did. I paid over 700$ to repair my truck.When I tried to return these, their customer service representative argued with me for weeks before coming to a resolution that I was not at all happy with. They refunded my money, but now I’m responsible for the disposal of their product. 40lbs of metal in a box that’s about 6 feet long. Now that’s my job because unless I wanted to pay out of pocket to return their defective product, they would not give me my money back.I will be contacting Amazon directly to speak with them about this seller and the quality of the product that Amazon is delivering to customers. This has probably been my worst buying experience from Amazon I’ve ever had.
