Contour ROAM3 Action Cam Ready for Adventure Bundle - Includes Camera, Telescopic 43" Selfie Stick, 32 GB Micro SD Memory Card, Compact Deluxe Gadget Bag

I started as an owner of the original Contour Roam, and have been very happy with it from day one. It doesn't have as many bells and whistles as a top of the line GoPro, but I'm not into that, I don't like how it mounts to my bike helmet, that it doesn't have the adjustable lens like the Roam, and how it looks like a box. I want the sleeker video cam with a nice profile that is durable, dependable, rugged, takes very good quality video, and is very easy to use. I recently purchased the Roam 3 because it has several improvements and a few more features than the original Roam, about which you can learn in any YouTube video review of it. My son recently purchased a GoPro 4 Black which is quite the action cam, but costs $500. You'll have to decide for yourself if the differences in features and quality are worth this price difference. Right now you can get the Roam 3 for about $125-$140 -- that's a significant discount from the $199 advertised price. And, by the way, the video quality of the Roams are better than what you see in YouTube videos because YouTube performs some funky compression on your videos, so take this into consideration, too, when comparing the video quality of Roams to earlier GoPros, like the GoPro 2, 3, etc.

Bought this as a replacement/back up for my gopro. Video quality is pretty good but there is little to no audio. Would not recommend buying this camera.

Video quality seems good so far. Difficult to adjust camera direction on helmet. Maybe I'm using the wrong mounts(?).Need to find out how to block the microphone to keep out wind noise.Software does not have editing capabilities.

Either I missed it or the product was not explained well.

Works really good,im using it playing paintball it comes with two sticks one is attached to ma gun and the other one is attached to my helmet ,good quality and really easy to use

From the beginning the camera only worked intermittently. It would just shut off and then would not charge properly. Now it doesn't work at all. It started overheating just sitting on the desk. Having problems trying to return or exchange it. There is no way to communicate directly with the company.

they don't have enough mounts for military. Real Kevlar in the Marines use the sidewinder mount for everything and Contour doesn't make one that fits

So last month the Countour Roam 3 was on sale for $100 I was about to buy it from Contour via Amazon when I saw the suggesting link to this bundle for the same price. I honestly thought it had to be "too good to be true" that for the same cheep sale price I could get a 32g class 10 SD card, selfie stick, and carrying bag simply by ordering from Beach Camera (through amazon) instead of ordering from Contour (through amazon). I was nervous because there were no reviews yet but I decided to risk it and order since beach camera was compatible with Amazon Prime (so shipping was free for me too). I'm happy to say it was the real deal! I received everything advertised and on time! Buy no means are the bag, selfie stick, and SD card high-end but they work and they are basically free when you consider that ordering the Camera from Contour is the same price as ordering it from here! The Contour Roam 3 itself also comes with an 8g SD card in addition to the 32g SD card that beach camera throws in! This is really a killer deal! For $100 I got an absolute steal! I see that deal must have ended at the end of the month but even at full price this is still a great deal.You can check out the reviews for the Contour Roam 3 itself by going over to the contour page on Amazon but your better off ordering from here (beach camera) because they add in the SD card, bag, and selfie stick for the same price. To summarize the comments on the Contour page the Contour Roam 3 is almost just as good as the GoPro for filming and it is more stylish, has better waterproof audio, and is half the price. And if you order from here you will get more cool stuff with it then you would from GoPro as well. Again this camera and this package is a great deal!
