Reliable and Compact PoE Switch – Great for Home and Small Business Networks!
The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Lite 8 PoE is an excellent choice for those looking for a compact yet powerful networking solution. I’ve been using it for a while now, and it has exceeded my expectations in both performance and ease of use.Pros:✔ Solid Build & Compact Design – The switch has a sleek, minimalistic look and feels well-built. It fits easily in small spaces, making it ideal for home or office setups.✔ Powerful PoE+ Support – With 4 PoE+ ports (802.3at), it provides sufficient power for UniFi APs, cameras, and other PoE devices without needing extra adapters.✔ Gigabit Speeds – All 8 ports support Gigabit speeds, ensuring smooth and fast connectivity for all connected devices.✔ Seamless UniFi Integration – If you’re already in the UniFi ecosystem, this switch integrates flawlessly with the UniFi Controller, allowing for easy management and monitoring.✔ Quiet & Efficient – Since it’s fanless, it operates silently and runs efficiently without overheating.Things to Consider:• Limited PoE Budget – The 52W PoE budget is enough for a few devices, but if you have multiple high-power PoE devices, you might need a switch with a higher power capacity.• Requires UniFi Controller for Advanced Features – While basic functions work out of the box, full control requires setting up the UniFi Controller (which is easy but worth noting).Final Verdict:If you need a reliable, silent, and efficient PoE switch for a small network, this is a fantastic option. It’s perfect for powering UniFi APs, cameras, and other PoE devices while keeping your setup clean and organized. Highly recommended for home users and small businesses!

Great Ubiquity switch!
Purchased this to connect the ADU of a property to the main network that was already using the Ubiquity equipment.Very easy and straight forward adoption process and great portable form-factor. Slick modern design. Quet. Solid design! This was mounted inside an in-wall enclosure and due to its size it fit their perfectly with plenty of room for other wiring.

Works well
I previously had the 8 PoE metal cased model costing almost twice the price. It got extremely hot using all the PoE ports and failed after two years use. This time round I bought two 8 PoE plastic cased units and used 4 PoE ports in each. The switches run much cooler and I'm expecting a long life

Reliable, Simple PoE Network Switch
This switch is used for PoE for a security system that was installed after someone broke into our shed. It has been in use for about 10 months without a single hiccup. This manufacturer's product seems to be more of a prosumer level product rather than baseline consumer which is especially good when concerned about reliability. The item runs relatively cool, and quality is quite good for the money.

Good managed switch, even better if you're already using UBNT products
Had my home wired for cat6 recently and moved my network stack from my office in a bedroom to the garage but still had a need for more than 4 ports for connecting various devices. This layer 2 switch does everything I need with the benefit of it being fanless and providing 60W of PoE power. I have an old RPi 3b+ running RaspianOS with the Unifi controller software installed to provide management of this switch. I'm now able to easily reconfigure VLANs as needed for whatever devices I have connected or need to temporarily connect.I moved away from Ubiquiti products for my home several years ago in favor of Aruba InstantOn switches and APs, but this mini switch is unbeatable for the price and features.
