Exactly what was expected

The camera inage is no better than a 20 dollar camera i had before but to be fair i dont know it it has to do with the stereo unit. Also the image is not a wide view.

Second Boyo product purchased. Very disappointed. First one I bought had a connector that failed. This second one, once installed would not activate its reverse screen option or guide lines. Will never buy another Boyo product.

3 months and the camera doesn't work after going into cat\r wash.

I bought this in conjunction with a rearview mirror monitor also from BOYO. They are both great quality and work well. However the instructions are lacking so install took a little more figuring out than expected from most after-market add on type accessories like this. The camera had no indication for which way was "up" so I had to temporally connect it and power it up to find out. If you are not good with automotive electoral work I would recommend having this installed by a shop, which is what this item seems geared toward as the instructions are just a simple wiring diagram and no further help was found on their website. Great picture, and the wiring was plenty long enough to do my crew-cab long bed Ford.UPDATE March 2016I still find this camera to work well. However 2 years later the finish on the camera itself is coming off. I have attached a picture. This is my my older somewhat beat up pickup so it's not a huge deal to me but if it were on a nicer car it would be quite annoying. I have the black camera even though the title says chrome, I don't know if the chrome finish would hold up better or not. I just thought I'd share this for someone looking to buy this to keep in mind.
