Good content nothing new.

I usually keep my mouth shut about stuff I don't like. Without much bashing all I can say is that you can pick up this information from watching freely available videos.

I received this book about a week ago. I have a couple of Joe Farace's books and I really like the clear and thorough way he writes. Along with the diagrams of how he set up the shot I find the ideas easy to translate to my own photography. I'm trying to simplify my photo shoots and use smaller cameras and not as many flashes and lights. This book gives me the step by step tips I can bring to my own shoots. It's also not a book about photo gear so I don't feel like I need to go out and buy a lot of things to accomplish what he shows in the book. I used it on a photo shoot this morning and I wish I could share the results with you. The model loved the images.

I bought two books by this author, and both were a disappointment. Poor quality photos, with very basic info that you can get online for free. You are way better off watching YouTube videos made by some of the top photographers, or going to a shoot the centerfold seminar. Don't waste your money on this garbage.

J'avais pensé, en achetant cet ouvrage, découvrir des techniques avancées pour photographier en lumière ambiante, mais ce livre n'est ni plus ni moins qu'un bon livre d'initiation à la photographie ; pour peu que vous soyez amateur éclairé, vous n'apprendrez rien ; au mieux, cela vous fera réviser les éléments de base et voir de belles photos.A un lecteur Français, je recommanderais plutôt de recourir à un ouvrage en français, à commencer par l'excellent guide photo édité par le National geographic.
