StetsonMen's Lakeland Uv Protection Straw Hat Natural

I have had this same style of Stetson hat for over 12 years. It has been rained on, crushed and been bruised by constant hiking and fishing use. Somehow it kept its shape, solar protection and comfort all that time. It is cool, you can shape the brim and if it gets too crumpled, you can lightly steam it. I would have given it 5 stars, but the hat band is too big and falls off. I will have to tack it down. Not Stetson's fault, distributor should have noticed and corrected it.

Size is very tight for a S/M. THe material is very light and I doubt it would hold up past a few good summers. You get what you pay for in anything. If you do get the right fit, treat it carefully. It is not an endurable.

The last hat I bought like this ( exact match ) had an elastic sweat band that fit extremely well. This one is a little too tight. If I knew they wasn't going to provide the one that was described, I would have chanced a larger one.

Says L / Xl.....more like medium / medium on my head. Tried to adjust the band inside, but that did not help. I always have trouble finding even an extra large that fits.

My go to hat for outdoor activities in the sun. Size fit as expected in my case.

I had actually ordered this hat for causal wear and I planned to retire an older Stetson straw to yard work after I gave my wife my $25.00 yard work hat. However, when I received this hat it had the same look and feel as my $25.00 yard work hat so this is now my yard work hat. Had this hat cost $25.00 I would be very happy with it, but it looks a little cheap to wear to work or for causal wear.
