My daughter couldn’t wait to get her robot dog. She had added it to my cart and I didn’t really read the description. The assembly wasn’t too hard but make sure you get it before you child starts trying to assemble it on their own. My biggest struggle was trying to figure out if she’d put things together right. So probably took me liner than it should to put together because of that. Also look closely at some of the pieces they have an L or R on them to help you figure out which side it goes on. But once assembled it works perfect. She loved it and carried it around all day yesterday. My daughter is 6 and loves all animals and even though she had 2 real dogs this robodog follows her commands. It came quickly with prime so that was another plus!

It’s definitely worth the Prime Day price I paid for it! My almost 6 year old son loves it! But I will say that it’s pretty fragile. My son dropped it and broke the tail within the first hour of playing with it, and he isn’t rough on toys. He dropped it from about 3 ft and it broke completely off.

this dog has to be by far the best STEM product I ever got for my four years old son, it is really easy to install and the instructions are clear, the quality is also very nice, the dog itself moves in a very stable way, my son loved the magnetic bone that came with it and it triggers actions from the dog. I'm really happy with it. also, it was great also that it came with batteries,

Was looking forward to building with my son.. simple to put together.. unfortunately does not work. First time I built it with my son follow instructions, lights up but does not move.. decided to take it apart and try build it myself, still it lights up does not move.. would not buy again

Fun toy to build and use with 6 yr old niece. She needed some help to assemble, but it wasn’t so difficult that she was uninterested. Instructions were good enough. Assembled product worked as described and had a quality better than pre-assembled toys that are the same cost. It’s a decent STEM type gift because it lets them see and assemble the mechanisms somewhat.

Gave this to my son for his 6th birthday. He loves robots and he LOVES dogs. This is the perfect combination of both! He was so excited for this.It says 6 and over so I thought he would be able to put it together, but I ended up putting it together, which was fine and he loves every minute of this toy. It sits right by his bed at night.

The 1st robot dog I received didn't end up working, specifically it wouldn't propel forward, ie. walk, & we had to return it. The 2nd one works. But because it was so cumbersome to have to build the dog, it not work, then return it, wait for another, then build it again, had I not received a dud for the 1st one I would've given this product 5 stars.

This is so cute. I bought it for my little sister as a gift and she loves it. The only note I want to make is that it is pretty hard for a child to put together. I am an adult, and I struggled a bit. If you have a kid that is into building stuff, then this is totally the gift for them. It is cute, compact, and just a fun build. Love it.

When I was buying this I bought it in a rush and didn't know it was a diy put together. After giving it as a present I found that it was needed to put it together and it was actually great. It was a great bonding exercise and was fun to do.The robo dog has very limited thing it can achieve but it is extremely fun and will amuse for a long period of time. The only part that needed my help assembling was when it came to the 4 screws but apart from that it was great.When it is built it will no longer fit in the box which is a little annoying but as it looks great it looks great on the bedroom shelf.

This was pretty simple to assemble (for me) and seems well manufactured. My daughter loves it, though I felt for the price it should have had more varied responses to different actions, but then its for her and not me. I did have an issue with one of the legs which would not stay on, so I got in touch with the seller and they are sending me a replacement, so excellent customer service.

Bought for my 5 year old for Christmas. She really loves it. I only gave 4 stars because it was really fiddly to put together. Lots of little pieces.

After receiving this toy, all the family was engaged in building it up (as Lego). Easy to set up. Everyone wanted to have a go and try it. Its fun thing what keeps the little one busy and develops the child's imagination.
