I have shaky hands so traditional wooden mouse traps are extremely stressful to set. They tend to snap while placing them. I tried several other brands of plastic traps and they were either ignored or broken by the mouse. In spite of all my efforts I could hear them in the walls.But no more.This brand is amazing. I set several of these in the basement and attic. And since I did all has been quiet in the house. I can easily set and reset this model of trap and dispose of the mouse. One trap in particular has caught fifteen mice already this winter. Peace of mind. Very thankful for this design.

We've been having mouse problems for a while now, but I bought a pack of these for each of our apartments, and they've been catching mice before they can get into anything. They're not messy at all. You can just open them up and empty them into the trash can. The only downside is sometimes they will catch a mouse by the leg and the mouse will still be alive for you to deal with. There's not really any way to avoid that with any trap, I think.

I just received these today so I haven’t caught anything yet, but they are not small dog or cat friendly. I have a larger dog who just sniffed it with his big nose and it went off. He did not get hurt however, I do have a Chihuahua who I’m worried if she put her paw on it would get caught. But they function is super easy to use. They are sturdy and durable. And they go off at the lightest touch so I do see them working on mice, because I live in a very old house with a field mice issue.

Catches animals with food.

These things are so small, you can only catch a baby mouse in these things. When I received the "6" packs. I thought that I only received 3 instead of 6. I called the manufactured they told me to look in the 2 pack and I definitely saw that they were a two pack f all 6 and that's when I realized that they were little traps instead of the ones that the mouse could go inside so that I would not have to see the dead mouse when caught.I couldn't even use. So if you're looking for the little traps it's fine. If you are expecting the one where the mouse goes into the little housing as advertised, look else where.

This time of year rats gather to eat fall fruits in my backyard and sometimes in the garage.I often tried multiple traps, including the traditional wooden, which are tricky but kill nearly every time, when triggered.With that off my chest, I set two of these in my garage in two areas(my dog made evident) at bottom of gorilla rack, behinds tool boxes.The first day, the trap behind the toolboxes was missing, and couldn’t find it anywhere.I thought, perhaps my dog found it and dragged it somewhere, but couldn’t find it.The next day the other trap was missing from under the gorilla rack. This would have been very difficult for my dog to get.The same evening, the trap that I set in the backyard was missing. I was frustrated! I was sitting down and noticed an empty trap underneath the fence. I went over to grab it, and when I opened it, there was a foot stuck in it that the rat must have chewed off, pretty gnarly!I never found the other two, but I’m assuming that the trap didn’t kill them all the way and they escaped with similar injuries?The trap seemed big enough, as the mice traps were smaller, and I’ve used similar traps before for rats.The sensitivity on these aren’t the best either.I gave this three stars instead of one, because they can be somewhat effective, and are easy to use.

When these mouse traps arrived I was hoping to trap the couple mice I have been seeing in my garage, the product showed up on time and when they did I was eager to set them up. I put in bait that I have noticed the mice carry and dropping around which happend to be chips I crushed up chips and put them in the bait tray and set the trap which was super easy, I came back no more than 5 minutes and already had a mouse trapped which was awesome! I’m now 5 hours into the traps being used and have eliminated 5 mice. I highly recommend this product!!

These traps worked the first day after another brand we had failed for a week. Recommended.
