Q: Does this firewall come with a licence?

It comes with Basic License (Statefull Firewall, VPN Site 2 Site, Routing with NAT Functions, etc), but if you need more advanced features, you can always license extra subscriptions such as Net Protection (for extra Network Protection such as IPS, IDS, APT, etc), or Web Protection (if you need web filtering and protection. Q: Can the home version of the Sophos firewall be installed on this?

Hello Steve, Advisor Consulting Group's answer is correct. If you are using the home license, it turns your computer into a firewall. If you still want the XG210 for a firewall, then need to order one of the bundled SKUs. If for your home, XG210 may be overkill unless doing big business out of it.
