This is a really great product for DIY projects.Pros:- Cost effective for a backsplash- Easy to install (about an hour for 2 people)- Easy to cut (I used kitchen shears and an exacto)- Easy to glue upWe actually used a hot glue gun instead of adhesive, and it's held up well. We did have one spot pop loose (because again, we weren't following recommendations) and I added a decorative nail to hold it in place (see photos). It went in easily and you can barely see it. So if you're a renter, you could use probably use nails instead.If you use sticky tape, you'll need the industrial strength.It's also very realistic and has fooled neighbors and friends.Cons- Not as heat-resistant as metal, so I wouldn't use it near a flat top stove. However, we have our toaster oven near it, and there has been no damage several months later.- I recommend getting samples, because one or two colors weren't as convincing. However, most were very realistic. As of my purchase, you can get samples from the Fasade website for just the cost of shipping.- As someone else mentioned, the ridges in the backsplash can prevent outlets from sitting flush. This was not a big deal to me, but if it bothers you, you could probably caulk it.We spray painted our outlets, but they do have matching foil as well.Overall we're extremely happy with this product and it has held up well. Highly recommended!

Tiles cover a large area (18x 24). It is a heavy duty plastic, that can be cut with strong scissors. The application is planned out so seams are not easy to see. The tiles color is as advertised, my photo does not show the color as well. I am happy. We wanted a little update, cover a flaw in the wall. This was just right.

3D design very hard to cut to match areas and electrical outlets. Gaps and edges look hideous. Threw away many pieces and then gave up. One star is generous.
