Able to have Programmed & Cut
I have a 2016 Honda HR-v EX-L. My mechanic was able to program both fobs without much difficulty. I got the keys cut with no difficulty. The remotes and keys unlock and lock the doors on both fobs. I probably saved almost $400. The dealer is a ripoff.I am one very satisfied customer.

It works!
The Honda dealer told me that keys like this are a hit and miss. That 50% of the time they do not work and I would still be charged a fee for the program. However this one worked! So happy not to spend so much for a key from the dealer!

Faulty Key and Used sell as New
This key doesnt work and cant even open to check battery. It was sold to me as NEW but is not.For $ 35 i need some answers

Dealer could not program.
The dealer could not program this keyfob. He even opened my real keyfob and we examined the chip differences together.I’m a Director of Engineering in embedded systems and can say with 100% guarantee this is not a replacement for a factory keyfob.

Unreliable and defective
Valet key too thick for locksmith to cut.Changed battery 4 months later and now FOB is dead.

They key fob was not programmable

fob programed o.k. key coud not be cut.
fob worked OK. Usefully as a emergency key hidden on car if regular key is lost.
