Apples

I teach multi handicap students and this was a great non fiction for us to read.

Liked the sturdy board book with simple, colorful pictures and a bit of science thrown in, too. Good beginner book about apples!

Great content and engaging formats that switch fluidly between narrative and step-by-step instructions (how to plant; how to bake a pie). We all learned something from this book. And we haven't stopped saying, "They're delicious and nutritious," LOL.

A wonderful companion to apple season. Includes the parts of the apple, the cycle of the apple growing year, a little trivia and apple history, pictures of different varieties, and recipes. Charming and beautiful.

I love Gail Gibbons informational texts. They are age appropriate for my kindergartners and we learn alot about the subject when we use her books. I reccomend Gail Gibbons books to all early childhood teachers.
