mainly I wanted to use this to give my deaf ragdoll cat some fresh air on my balcony.I tried two harnesses to walk him but he escaped from both within minutes ! When I unpacked carrier I noticed the quality of the construction right away.There is ample room even for a large cat such as mine two at a pinch ! .It has soft furry cushions in the base too.I was hoping he would sit in it indoors at first but after several days he was wary of it.Finally I zipped him up in it and put him out on the balcony.He was so quiet and good enjoying the view and the fresh air making no attempt to try and escape as cats do.There was plenty of room for him to lay flat with side wings unzipped and he looked very comfortable and happy.Highly recommended as has lots of uses trips to vet, cosy little house inside airline travel etc

According to the Amazon review checker there has been a lot of deception around this product's reviews, which made me feel quite surprised as its an excellent product, compact, affordable, extremely well designed.I bought the smallest size and I have a 5kg cat, chubby but fairly small, because it was the only one I found that fulfilled the size criteria for cabin travel with Aegean Airlines.The pet is strapped in the carrier and the owner can unzip its pockets and the carrier grows double in size. My cat was very quiet and comfortable during the journey, and she really enjoyed the extra space. I highly recommend this product as it was clearly designed by someone who loves and knows about pets.

The ability to be able to extend the room for your pet is great. I'm not sure I see the purpose of the divider between the extension rooms, it would be great if these could be replaced by a fold down floor as once extended there is no floor in the additional room. Apart from the aforementioned issues the carry case seems well made and spacious. It makes transportation easier than a solid plastic box and I can fold out one side to extend on the car seat for my cat. All in all very happy, I hope the suggestions are taken on board and this is improved further. I would recommend this carry case.

The design of this kitten carrier is first class. I use it not just for travel but also fully extended as a house for rest and play, and my kittens love it! Comfortable and spacious, with a handy pocket for treats, clip on safety lead on the inside and I can fasten the carrier onto the car seat belt. Very versatile!

We were travelling with our puppy from UK to Malta (as in-cabin pet) and we used this carrier, after very very extensive research to find something that would fit under the seat in front. I'm pleased to confirm that whilst it is NOT within the official AirMalta dimensions, we had no problem with the flight attendants (in fact, they were extremely friendly and helpful).The carrier fits under the seat in front - not fully, but enough for take-off / landing. We had the medium one and I do not think the large one would still fit - it was quite tight under the seat and had to be pushed slightly to go under. It's perhaps not the most comfortable position for you but if your dog/puppy isn't a small chihuahua or yorkie (ours is a papillon, 4 months at that point) then you will need that bit of extra space in the carrier for him/her. We were lucky enough to be given empty middle seat and were allowed to put carrier on it whilst in the air, and the puppy slept through most of the flight.We use it now for his car journeys, he's nearly 6 months and it is a fairly tight fit (he is a biiiig boy for a papillon) but clearly not too bad as he doesn't complain and goes inside without a battle.Overall I'm very pleased, even though we don't tend to use the "expandable" parts of the carrier, and given the choice again, I'd probably just get the one from same brand with only one side expanding.

Only the smallest Carrier has soft padding on base & sides.The bigger one is only padded on Base witch is a shame.Easy to fit in the car & take out

Very happy with this purchase. I was able to bring my cat in the cabin of an Air France flight without any problems. My cat actually loves it and even after the scary adventure, keeps resting in it. It's a size M. It is very sturdy. It's very easy to fold once empty, but it's not easy to squash when in use. The frame is quite solid.

I moved from USA to Sweden last year and took my cat with me. I was able to fit this under the seat in front of me and open the side. My cat was able to spread out under the seat and sleep the whole flight (thank goodness).I also opened the sides up when waiting around the airports and in the car rides to and from. It made him very happy as it's all mesh when opened and he has space to move and stretch in there.It's small, but for travel purposes I would recommend. I do not use it for vet visits or anything as its too small. But for flights it's great.

I really love the durability of the carrier. My dog is a mixed Maltese breed and weighs around 14-15 lbs. I got the Large sized carrier just so that my dog can have enough space to lay while we fly. I was a little worried it wouldn’t hold shape but it does. The side zip that folds out is a great addition to the carrier as well! + the bonus pockets are a hit, I will be stuffing her favorite treats in them.Gonna have to train my pup to feel more comfortable in the carrier but she is definitely getting the hang of it.

I bought this to bring my pup in the cabin when I fly because it says its Airline approved. The product itself is well made, sturdy and fits my pup (33cm shoulder to toe, 5.4kg), but I dougt this will fit underneath the airline seat. It says in description that I can squeeze this in, but the frame is pretty stiff so you can only squeeze the middle part of the carrier, and both ends will need to bend inside. if you do that, my pup will have super small space. If the airline company is going to allow you to let the carrier stick outside, then it will work, but thought its too risky to use this. (you never want to be turned back at check in).If you are using this for your road trip or on trains, then this would work really well.
