We recently purchased this netting to cover our garden boxes. In the picture, the box on the right is also covered with shade cloth. We put the shade cloth over this netting so that when we remove the shade cloth, the garden is still protected from birds and squirrels, etc. We have screws in the top edges of the fencing to secure the netting by stretching and hooking it onto the screw (which is not inserted all the way into the wood). This has been very effective and we've actually gotten to eat our tomatoes!

Over the years I've tried many things to keep bird off my tomato plants, this year I built a frame with PVC pipe and placed this netting over the plants added a couple DVD's on strings to cause confusion problem solved

the netting is VERY thin.... "lightweight". we had to double it to make it stronger. Fingers crossed it keeps the critters out of our garden. To be continued.....

I have a small 120 sq/ft pond in my back yard. Ever since my 15 or so goldfish grew to the size of size 9 shoes I never had a problem with Blue Heron landing at my pond. Using a rail camera to find out where they were disappearing to I finally discovered they were becoming breakfast for these huge birds. So I bought this bird netting and continued to watch for them with the trail cameras. Eventually two arrived and stood by the side of the pond. I watched as they sized up the black, almost invisible, netting stretched about 6 to 8 inches above the water line. After almost a minute they stretched their huge 7 foot wings and flew away. I've had no problem since. (knock on wood).

Netting is working great. Strong and does what I bought it for.
