NOT anodized finish as represented.This is a significant difference from the spray enamel finish that is on shackle.

My set up is a Smittybilt winch on a Southern Style Offroad bumper on my 2016 5th Gen 4Runner. i have the X20 winch and I cut the original hook off with an angle grinder and a cut off blade. Took seconds. You will need a snap ring pliers and this installs easy. Looks better and safer than the factory hook.

3/4" d-ring did not fit just right due to shackle part not being quite long enough and the d-ring making contact. Tried multiple different d-rings and none fit. I had to grind away a little of the aluminum on each side to make it fit. No real issue but now I have two bare aluminum areas. As noted by others it is definitely not anodized, it is painted and the paint is going to scratch and wear quickly. If I would have known I would have to grind on it and it was just painted, I would have preferred just bare aluminum.

It was packaged well when delivered, it’s a 5 minute install if that if you have snap ring pliers. It is painted and scratches easy but it’s on rock crawler so who cares. It’s a good deal. Buy it

Looks and functions exactly like the name brand, but at a GREAT price! Some of the paint around the hole for the D-Ring is chilling off, but I keep the D-Ring in it all the time and it's not noticeable.

Got the look I was going for. Snap ring tool helps make this a very easy install.
