Frustrating design, but effective
The design of the center conductor for soldering is frustrating, and the crimp collar is very cheap. The design of the half open well and the miniscule gap between the center conductor and the shield made it very challenging to get a clean solder on the first try. Also, when crimping the sleeve on the shield it split. I did not put too much force on it. Wish M&P made RG316 size BNC connectors.

Product description should include "solder" as well as crimp connector.
Well made. 50ohm 2.4 WIFI yagi antenna.

Very nice connector
Well made, fits snugly and quality materials. A "scratch test" indicated that is is all brass under the nickle plating. The insulation around the center pin showed no signs of softening when soldered. Will have no hesitation in buying again.

Ferrules for are too large for standard .128" crimp.
The ferrules don't crimp correctly due to being too large on the OD. These measure at .1565" and all the other ferrules I have for rg174/rg316 are .150". You end up with an ugly crimp with a pinched up spot on the hex.

Not a typical type
This is soldered on in a way that is not typical, be ware. Ended up throwing them away after crimping.
