This light is great!! I got it for my kitchen, installed them easily in 20 minutes, the adhesive worked perfectly, got more than enough length for my needs. Got it to work with my home automation system using some extra devices. I love it.

Works great for outdoor deck stair lighting. Improves safety 1000%.The ability to customize the length make it perfect for stairs.

Nicely done, silicone on the top, bright and dims well down to about 6.2 volts. The adhesive doesn't stick very well, if the tape is bent the tape pulls away after a few hours. The silicone also cover the solder pads so you have to carefully scrap the silicone off the pads to either solder or use the connectors with bare wire. Still an interesting LED product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've been using this product for about 2 years in a variety of DIY homeowner projects and it has worked extremely well (I have installed two full lengths/orders). Manufacturing quality is excellent and I have experienced zero LED chip failures. Make sure you use it with a diffuse lens if you want even illumination with no spots/shaddows.

Update: In my original review I was using a power supply that was severely under-powered, so my disappointment was my own fault. When I switched to a power supply with 12v and 3A, they now are extremely bright. These are my first set of FCOB LED lights, so I learned a lot with these. Turns out, they’re a great product for a 3D printed DIY lamp!I like that it comes with all the wires and connectors needed to get started. It’s a fun and functional little strand of lights. And if you use a power supply with 12v and 3A, they’ll be very bright.

These LED lights work great and are easy to install. The included connectors make customizing the length and connecting additional strips easy. Great value, too. the double sided tape they include to attach the strip works great. Mounted these in metal tracks with an opaque cover. Love the continuous illumination vs the older style of individual elements.
