Beautiful
The star is beautiful. Unfortunately it is battery operated and does not have an option to plug into your light. Received today and when I opened it the battery pack was broken. It still works just hate buying things that arrive broken

Works great if you can turn the batteries on every time
I had wanted this star for the top of the tree. I didn’t pay enough attention that it was battery operated; I didn’t want to have to turn it on and off separate from the tree every time (I am not tall enough for that to be easy!). It’s gorgeous on the shelf... just not what we intended it for. However the craftsmanship and quality are great for the price!

Pretty tacky
It didn’t fit my tree well so I kinda jammed it in but I honestly hate the look of the strings of lights around it.

Too Heavy for Artificial Tree
First of all, the star isn't as nice in person as in the picture. The string of leds just wraps around the outside, and it kinda looks like the stringy bits off a hot glue gun. But, I could have overlooked that as it's supposed to sit on top of the tree. However, it can't even do that because it's so top heavy that it just flops over. I tried bending the top of my tree over a couple times, but it still didn't work. Because the base gets wider at the bottom, it won't stay securely. Can't use it at all.

Its ok, hard to put on the an artificial, pre-lit tree.
Requires 2 AA batteries (not included), battery pack is annoying when trying to place on top of my artificial tree, and the spring like bottom got tangled in the pre-wired tree lights. It took 15 minutes to detangle from the tree, ultimately had to break the bottom of the star to get it off and then another 5 minutes to place it on straight.

Short wires
The description is a bit misleading. The battery case has only 4" of wire (probably closer to 3") from the case to the star. You cannot hide it in the branches nor can you reach the switch once it's sitting on top of your tree. I had to solder in 24" of wire to make it usable. The star itself is nice though.

No thanks.
I should have read the reviews before buying this. I'm not a fan of running batteries to power it and the cord is short and hard to hide. The more you move the cord to hide it, the more toppled and slanted the star becomes lol. It will do for this year's Christmas but I'll do better research next year.

Battery issue makes it more difficult to use.
I love the style of the piece. It's lovely. I am still trying to figure out how to turn it on and off without having to get a ladder out since the battery cable is so short. 🤨
