These were purchased for twins (grandbabies) that will be preemie babies. I used lambskins with my own children, and know it makes a HUGE difference in sleep. Babies cannot maintain their body temperatures which disturbs their sleep. A lambskin keeps them warm in the cold, and cool in the heat! I trusted Woolino because the skins are sanitized. These are beautiful, soft, and a very generous and usable size. My babies used a longer nap (unshorn) that looked more vanilla to yellow in color, but I chose these for the white color. The short nap is also beautiful, and it doesn't matter-both work the same. Don't get hung up on nap; choose the color that you like. One of these was taken out of the packaging at the baby shower. There was a fussy 7 month old there. She was placed on the lambskin. She immediately started stroking the lambskin. This soothed her and her eyes started getting heavy. Don't question whether a lambskin is worth the price. It totally is! They last forever if you take care of them. Pregnant mom (of twins) is finding comfort lounging on one of our over-twenty year old lambskins. This is an awesome product.

this rug can be used for baby to keep cozy and warm when laying on it. it can easy be taken with you in car...carseat...in stroller on even on chair when toddler sits. it can be kept forever because even adult can put it on their chair for softer and warmer back . great buy for babies

nobody registers for this when they have a baby shower but it is the best. It provides warmth in the winter and cool in the summer. You can put it in the crib, stroller, or on the ground. babies love it, it keeps them calm.

I purchased this item as a bed cushion to help heal existing pressure wounds and prevent new wounds from forming. It really does help! The sheepskin is as advertised, thick, dense wool and sheared to a uniform depth for comfort. The sheepskin is a single piece, not patched together and there is no unpleasant odor. I can't speak to how easy it is to clean. I haven't cleaned it yet.I am very satisfied with the purchase.

This fleece rug is beautiful. It is so soft and plush. It is great for pictures of your new baby and so soft on their skin. I use the kukaburra wool wash that Amazon also sells if it needs cleaning.This is an amazing gift for a new baby or for a baby shower. Will easily become my kiddos favorite blankie as time goes by. It's quality tanning, with no noticeable tanning smell, just smells like wool but I realize that's a poor description . It's doesn't smell like sheep, so don't be concerned there. It would also be really lovely for someone who it bedridden or uses a wheel chair. It provides breathable comfort.

this is a great option for baby. the perfect snuggly fur to play on and to keep knees soft while learning to crawl. the only complaint was that the fur can be hard to wash and get clumped over the years. I've had one for six years, and still serves well

I paid $70 for it. I have no idea whether that's a good price or not. However, it is super soft and really, really nice, so I have no regrets. My newborn loves it.

It’s cushiony and helps regulate her temp! I put my face down in it and it’s also pretty breathable. We love her sheepskin because she loves her sheepskin!

This is really a nice little sheepskin and really inexpensive compared to others that are often two or three times this price. Very soft and cozy whether it's on my bed or office chair. The one negative comment on it I have to make is the way that it's packaged all folded up, because it took an awful long time for those folds to be worked out of it. The manufacturer would do better to roll it up instead. If it were not for that I'd have given it five stars instead of four.

Perfect gift for any baby. Wether you use it inside simply as a nice soft place for baby to be on floor or for outside activities in the cold. I use inside a bike cart that I switch to wheels in cold winters in Quebec. Makes a nice bedding for baby to lie on that’s super cozy and warm. Would even buy two and sew together for a lovely warm bag to keep baby in cold weather in Baby carriage for walks.

Baby sleeps so well on this, cozy and soft. Expensive but worth it
