This is such an excellent product. I’ve been using this product for years. I do tend to buy directly from other distributors, because sometimes the Amazon products are off. This brand is amazing for sensitive skin and does not leave a greasy feeling. It goes right in and feels weightless. I love that it has sun protection and moisturization.

I love love love this sunscreen. I have a cabinet full of sunscreens that I hate so much I would often not bother with applying any which is not good for a 42yr old trying to remain young! Unlike all the others this has little to no smell & is not greasy looking on my face. The others also have that same super strong sunscreen smell that actually gives me a headache. The EltaMD is super moisturizing but not too heavy & leaves no white ghost face. What I did just discover is that I had a Halo & IPL laser treatment of my face, neck & chest & this was THE only lotion that did not burn like fire or make my face red. It even says on the bottle it is for post procedures so overall this stuff is amazing. I will never buy another kind, I do wish there was a waterproof version tho.

A few months ago I began a series of laser hair removal and was advised by my dermatologist to use a sunscreen with 3% or more zinc oxide, as this blocks UVA and UVB rays and prevents post-procedure skin discoloration which can happen if skin is exposed to direct sun within a two to five days of getting lhr. This was a big concern, as I use public transportation on a regular basis. A higher concentration of zinc oxide also provides greater protection from sun damage and aging which I have begun to think about more in the past few years. The dermatologist recommended a few brands, and I bought EltaMD after trying a sample. It has a zinc oxide concentration is at 7%. I like the way it doesn't feel heavy like Neutrogena Ultrasheer Sunscreen with SPF 70, which made my t-zone feel a bit greasy. I have combination skin but this moisturizer makes my entire face feel moisturized without being oily and I don't break out. I use it every morning before work, putting it on before my makeup. On weekends I use it more often if I'm out in the sun for more than a few hours at a time.For those of you who might be discouraged by the SPF 30+, keep in mind that by FDA standards any SPF above 30 is supposed to be marked 30+, so brands like Neutrogena that have SPF 70 aren't necessarily better.I really like this product, and will continue to use it as my daily SPF.

I bought this on the recommendation of my dermatologist and I’m never going to get anything else. I have a few auto inflammatory skin diseases and have never found a product that doesn’t affect my skin in one way or another until now. It’s light, not greasy, has spf and you can build with it if you use makeup. I now share it with my family including my teens and we all love it! It’s so safe I have even been able to use it post laser and after other skin therapies. It’s worth every penny!!!

I have been using this cream for a few weeks now. I am a 50-year old faded redhead with light skin that burns at the suspicion of sun and has generally very sensitive skin with a touch of rosacea.I tried to be as thorough as I could and if my review comes off as negative, this is unintentional. I use this cream every day and plan to use it in future, because it outperforms every other sunscreen I have used on my face in the past. I get away with only using this as my daycream, and it gives solid sun protection. The negatives I do mention are things I have noticed with this, but overall this is far superior to ALL other sunscreens I have used, and I would (and have) recommend it to others.The cream goes on light and smooth and does indeed moisturize the skin as promised. On my skin, however, it leaves a slightly oily sheen (that I am telling myself is a glow) that does not get absorbed but stays for good. It seems to work well as a moisturizer, my skin feels nice and supple and although I have very sensitive skin it does NOT make me break out nor does it cause reddening (which many creams do).As is to be expected with 7% zinc oxide, it renders you more palefaced than before. However, the lightening is subtle and unobtrusive and I have had much worse in creams with less zinc oxide.I tend to deal with both the sheen and the lightening with a bit of mineral powder that renders my face sheen-free and slightly tanned.However, I have to be very careful not to rub my face or not to sweat too much as my eyes begin to water when any of the cream gets into my eyes.

I love all of EltaMD's products but they can be pricey. As a pale person who does not tan, just gets freckles and skin cancer, I am a sunscreen connoisseur. EltaMD is the best and I love this formula for winter when I need some moisture. I use a different product of theirs in the summer when I don't need extra moisture. I cannot wear chemical sunscreens as they make me jumpy and mess with my hormones so I love these lightweight, mineral formulas. They work well under makeup or alone and don't give you that chalky white of most mineral sunscreens. They are a great price on Amazon as well.

I'm really pleased with this product. My skin is a mess and I've had a tough time finding a sunscreen that checks all the boxes. I have very fair, sensitive skin with rosacea. I also struggle with dryness. This sunscreen is not irritating, doesn't break me out, and is moisturizing while also providing the sun protection I'm looking for. Yay! I like the formula- it moisturizing enough that I don't use an additional product and it dries fairly quickly so I can put makeup on top. It does have a sheen to it so folks with oily skin may not like it, but it gives my dull skin a nice glow. Very happy to pay the price for a big tub of this.

Very nice texture, doesn't leave white screen. Skin feels moisturised and soft all day. It's lightweight and feels good. Protects from sun very well. Has almost no smell just a regular smell like plain cream but very faint. My skin feels so much healthier since using this, I have used this for over a year, has become my number one. Good on sensitive skin and acne prone skin. My acne problems literally gone since using this.

It very hard to find Elta MD in the UK because it’s an American brand of dermatologists, so was pleased to find it on amazon at a good price well worth it as this brand is good for sensitive skin and doesn’t contain any fragrance, it’s lightweight and no white cast I highly recommend

This has excelled my expectations. It is lightweight, non greasy and goes into your face like an excellent moisturizer. Absolutely delighted to know I have high sun protection and moisturizer in one. Love it.

I find the sunscreen so smooth even under make up .
