CATEYE H-34N FlexTight Bracket for Headlights

Wanted a solution for a light mount that I could use on multiple bikes when handlebar space wasn’t available, came across a blog with a DIY guide, this bracket is the main piece, the actual mount is up to the builder, in my case I used the “PORTLAND DESIGN WORKS LIGHT NUG”

I’m glad Cateye designs their brackets to work with multiple generations of their headlights, as I have a few of them and it’s nice I can move them from bike to bike. I’m also glad they didn’t cost-save out the ability to slightly alter the angle of the clip relative to the strap, as being able to do this is critical when finding an available spot on my bars. I like to use two lights at a time. First because it’s good to have a backup in case one dies during a ride, and secondly because two bright blinking headlights seem to do much better at getting the attention of drivers than just one. It never seemed to matter that I was wearing high-viz clothes or accessories or had a blinking light. Having multiple blinking lights seems to do the trick.

Solves a problem for me, now that I have a second bike. I simply mount the bracket on the handlebars of my second bike, and move my existing cateye light from the bracket on my first bike to this new bracket on the second. The cateye light fits perfectly in both mounting brackets. The process of moving the light from one bike to the other is easy. Not a hassel at all.

With the slightest modification it replaced the knockoff mount for my other brand of bicycle light that obviously copied this mount but had broken

Perdí la original cuando robaron mi bici, me quede sólo con la lámpara (una muy buena por cierto), estaba decepcionada de no poder seguir usándola, me sorprendió encontrar el repuesto ORIGINAL. Lo recomiendo, definitivamente lo volvería a comprar.
