I bought these because I am making curtains for my bedroom and given that Saris are a bit over 5 yards of fabric and I was getting 3 of them for $39 it seemed to me that they were far less expesive than if I went and bough plain chiffon at a fabric store. I really wasn't expecting a lot given that the reviews on these saris were very mixed and wide ranging, but I was pleased. The colors are beautiful and the fabric seems strong. I do wish I had a better idea of just what "Art Silk" actually was. It has a flat weave and is a bit thinner than quilting cotton but not as sheer as chiffon. And it is a bit stiff, maybe like it has a bit of sizing in it. I think it is probably a cotton/poly mix, or maybe it is all poly. Because I am using it for curtains it will be wonderful. And because I love the way they looked, I will probably buy me a more expensive sari in the future to make a belly dance costume out of.

The sarees are decently made, especially for the price, but seem like a one time wear. I was also sent the wrong saree with one of my orders which I am not happy about.
