I'm sorry but I did not get to use this as the occasion was cancelled. It arrived in perfect condition. I opened it and it smelled great and I dipped my finger in and tasted it and it tasted great. However, that's all that I can say about this product. So grateful to be able to order it as I was unable to find it in any store here.

A lot of salt but good bacon taste

This was my first time buying bacon base and wasn't sure what to expect. I was making gravy and wanted a bit of bacon flavor to it and didn't have bacon grease on hand. I added a spoonful of the bacon base to the gravy and once it was all mixed in, tasted it. The gravy was so incredibly salt. This confused me because I had not added salt yet. A single spoonful of the bacon base made the entire batch of gravy incredibly salty.Once I knew what to expect it was good to add bacon flavor. Just make sure to not add salt in whatever you're making as this bacon base has more than enough.

I used it anytime I would like bacon flavor in my cooking. Flavor is strong and it’s a good size. I keep it refrigerated. Will recommend if you like bacon.

I bought this to put in soups and I would not recommend it period. The taste was absolutely gross and the smell was terrible. Really thick, dark brown, and didn't seem to dissolve well at all. The container it came in was greasy to the touch like it leaked out of the seal or wasn't wiped off. I used it about three times before throwing it away. My husband and I were very disappointed. Never again.

Great products will buy it again and I will tell others about it

Don't even come close to tasting like bacon..
