Precise V5 Rollerball Pens, Extra Fine Point 0.5mm, Blue, 14-Pack

These are by far my favorite pen of all times. They last for so long and the fine point is awesome. The ink does not smudge and the pens are very versatile. They are a bit more expensive than I would normally pay for a pen but did I mention that I love them???

These pens are great if they match what you need (and I love them). Up until they start to run out of ink, it generally flows nice and smooth (no need to press down or leave physical indentations in the page) and produces very crisp, clear, dark writing. They soak in enough that they are indelible and good for formal documents, although they can bleed a bit if you are writing on cheap paper and they can show through to the other side if you have especially light weight paper.

This is simply the greatest pen in the whole wide world. Deep black ink, a clip that is flush with the top of the pen so that you can carry them around in the collar of your shirt, and just the right size for ease of gripping. Been using them for years, will use them til the end of days.

I have used this brand of ink pen for two years for both writing in my art Journal and for doing sketches. You can get them in various sizes, but I prefer the extra fine for light sketching and writing. I know they're not advertised for art , but I find the fact that they are NOT waterfast makes for some interesting shading when you add a little bit of water to what you're drawing. The lines will bleed a little bit when you dab a bit of water, making for very soft shading and interesting backgrounds. I can even add a little bit of water 2 days later because the ink still has a little bit of moisture in it. So if you're looking for smear-resistant,this pen would not rate high. That's just fine with me because that's what I want to do.. smear a bit! It won't smear however on dry paper. The ink in the pens lasts a long time as long as you keep the caps on.

These are my go-to pens. I write a lot for work, personal use, etc. and I've loved these pens for years. Used to get them for free from a previous employer, which is how I got turned onto them. They work great, last a long while, and feel study without weighing too much. I literally always have two on my desk at home, one in the car, one in the dining room where I keep my keys, wallet, etc. and have two to three in my work bag. Only two knocks would be, depending on the surface, they can smudge a bit in the first few seconds. But that's understandable given their design. Really only problem is that they can be fairly easily broken by their tips, which often leads to the ink running out so just be careful with them. If the tips were more resilient this would be a no brainer five-star rating.

I seemed to go through all 14 pens in 5 weeks. They must have been in stock for too long
