Excellent softener
Excellent product. Works great, nice, soft water. Price is right. I hired a plumber for the piping which was a good idea. Added a faucet for car washing.

Great water softener and company
The water softener is excellent, and the installation was completed in just a few hours, primarily due to the need to run PEX tubing to integrate the unit into the system. Aplus water llc is a reputable seller; they promptly provided the 3/4 inch bypass valve upon request.

Works great, no issues with installation!
I bought one of these to bring down the hardness of my water from an acid neutralizer I recently started using. My plumber recommended this brand as a solid unit that should last at least 10 years, so I went ahead and purchased it for him to install. The install went smoothly, and the unit works great!I didn't have salt on hand, so my plumber walked me through the programming steps so I could do it myself later, and the process was very straightforward, and well documented. Hoping this unit lasts me a good long time!

Works well, valve showed "Er 0" after six months, seller sent replacement promptly and all is good
I paid a local plumber to install it for us, and it started out great. The water has a very slight salty taste and consumes about one 40lbs salt crystal bag every six weeks. After six months the unit stopped working and flashed "Err 0" when trying to run a regen cycle. After power cycling it started up okay before going back to "Err 0". I called the Fleck/Pentair customer service number in the warranty book and was told I need to order a new piston and valve spacer which are "wear items" not covered under warranty. UPDATE 6/28/22: Seller Aplus Water LLC were incredibly helpful, and sent a replacement valve at no cost. They sent a return shipping label for the failed valve so they can inspect with the manufacturer. They sent a link to an instructional video they had made, and with that I was able to replace the value in about an hour. It is once again working perfectly. Thank you Heather at APlus Water LLC for resolving this promptly and easily! We are again very happy with our purchase.

Missing piston screw
Have had this softener for a while now. Installed it myself and was easy enough to do with plenty of videos online to reference. The issue started recently when doing maintenance.I found the brine tank having light brown residue all over. I cleaned it up and reconnected the brine line and started the Regen cycle which takes over an hour. I went about my day. A couple days later I come back to check on something else and notice it is still draining water but it isn't doing a Regen. Looking online I kept seeing people mention the piston getting stuck so I decided to open it up and see what was going on.The piston had disconnected from the power head. I found a video that showed the teardown of these systems and saw that there was supposed to be a screw holding them together. I bought a screw and washer and placed the piston back onto the powerhead and screwed it in. I am now running another Regen cycle to make sure it works but I am annoyed that something so important was missing. Can't wait to get the water bill for December with so much water wasted because of this issue.I liked the system when it worked but this issue was completely avoidable if only they had installed the screw.
