When I first got it, it seemed so small I thought "this is going to be a waste of money", but it's a brilliant little thing.You need to line the bottom of the paper up with the right paper size little red line and make the first 6 holes, then use the little red dot to make your next 6 holes by putting the 5th hole in the little red dot (make sure the red dot is pushed up so it will fit into the 5th hole), then press down and punch the next set off holes then just repeat until all your paper has it's holes. I hope that makes sense! Then punch all your papers, put them together and insert the end of your spiral Plastic Binding Ring Spring Spiral Rings and carry on inserting and turning until all your oles are in the spiral.It's actually a great tool to use to make spiral A4, A6 and A5 spiral bound books, it sounds more complicated than it is. I love it and it's very easy to do. I laminate my front & back pages.
