Powerful, convenient, and a lifesaver for long hair
I am so impressed with this Shark Cordless Vacuum Cleaner! Compared to other options, it was reasonably priced, but it performs like a much more expensive model. I especially love how effective it is at picking up long hairs because as a woman with long hair, I’ve struggled with vacuums that just push hair around or get tangled, but this one handles it beautifully. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver around furniture and tight spaces, and the suction is strong enough to get both hard floors and carpets clean without multiple passes. It picks up dust and dirt very quickly. The cordless design is a game-changer, making it much less stressful to grab and start cleaning without worrying about cords and outlets. The only minor con is battery life, which can run out before finishing larger areas, but this is easy to work around if you pick up a spare battery. That way, you can swap and keep cleaning with minimal interruptions.Overall, five stars for performance, convenience, and its amazing ability to handle hair without tangling. I genuinely love this vacuum and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable cordless cleaner.

Best vacuum!
This vacuum is excellent. More suction than my corded Shark. Works great on rugs and hardwood floors, easy to use without the cord in the way. Battery lasts as long as it takes me to vacuum the whole.e house. Easy to empty. I have zero issues. I did buy a hook so I could mount on the wall.

Nice for a cordless vacuum!
I went into this purchase. Not expecting this vacuum to be a strong as my corded vacuum, but I live in an old house with narrow staircases and it's a pain to haul a vacuum up and down stairs, so I mostly just leave this one upstairs. With that in mind, it's a pretty nice little vacuum. I would not want it to be my primary vacuum, but it works well as a backup. The battery length is pretty good, and it does have reasonably powerful suction. Although again, not as good as my regular corded vacuum. It does does best on flat surfaces and struggles with anything textured like entryway mats etc. I have multiple cats and so I mostly am vacuuming for litter and cat hair and it does pretty well at getting both of those things. The roller brush does get jammed fairly easily and it's mildly a pain to clean, there's not an easy way to snap it off, so in terms of design, I wish they had designed it to easily open for cleaning since periodically it loses suction power and needs to be cleaned before it'll work well again. But overall, it is really nice as a backup and I've been fairly impressed with it for a cordless vacuum.

Perfect in every way even quieter than expected
Omg , this has changed my life. I hated luging around my big upright vacuum and stopping to change where I plugged it in through out the house. Not the worst problem in the world but certainly convenient. This vacuum is smaller but o so mighty. Easy to charge lasts several vacuuming sessions. Everything clicks together nicely and releases well. Though the container for what I vacuum up is smaller it encourages me to empty every time when I finish vacuuming. I don’t like to leave it in there after each vacuum anyway.I love the quick and easy switch to carpet and flooring. Very versatile light weight and very ergonomically made. Even with the bit of arthritis I have in my hands it’s way more comfortable that that big thing I used to have to lug around.I have only had this vacuumed for a few months but so so wonderfully pleased with its suction power. Couldn't be more happy with purchase. Highly recommend this maker and the model is just right for me and my needs

"Self Clean Roll" my butt (see photo). DO NOT BUY! Warranty doesn't cover persistent problem.
This is my 3rd Shark item. I purchased this one in 2022 with a 5-year warranty. I have a corded vacuum, a steamer and now this Duoclean. In the 5th month of owning it and using about 1-2x/week the wheels of the thing started squeaking VERY loudly. Deafeningly so. I troubleshooted on my own, and know that it is the wheels as they squeak even when they are being hand-rotated and the vacuum is not on. I cleaned the hair from it - still loud squeaks. I called Shark, which has always been really great about standing behind their products (and one of the reasons I bought this product to begin with). We went through a video chat where they recorded everything and they had me trouble shoot for clogs and the usual suspects. I told them from the beginning that it was the wheels squeaking. Finally they agreed and said that they could replace the head - or "nozzle" as they call it - the part that has the motor and is on the floor sucking in the dirt. But...they said they would charge me 50% of the part replacement - which is $45 plus tax - and they would waive the shipping. I said "Wait a minute - this thing has a warranty - and I've only had it 6 months." They said, "The warranty you have is a 'VIP warranty' which is for 5 years, but it doesn't cover that part - only 'wear and tear' items." So I said, "This is the main part of the vacuum - and it's the wheels. What's not covered and why??" No explanation, no telling me what they consider "wear and tear" and no break down of those "covered" components within the main vacuum head. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said one would call me back within 1-2 days. Meanwhile I called Amazon as they are usually super about these sorts of things. It got escalated twice - and then finally declined. They said I need to take it up with the manufacturer. I told both Amazon and Shark that I would write a detailed review - which this is - and warn others that if you should have problems with this vacuum, you are basically on your own as the warranty is worthless. Additionally, on other Shark products, you can basically disassemble the whole thing like a Legos set, which is super smart. But on this thing, there is no way to take out the main roller (there are 2) - in order to clean behind it within its compartment. So dust and all sorts of dirt will collect in the upper plastic compartment that houses the big roller - and you can't get rid of it. It is very poor design to not allow both rollers to come out for cleaning. Otherwise - the ease of use is very good, and it's pretty powerful. It folds up nicely and takes up little space. Battery lasts for a while - enough to clean 1600 sq feet without a recharge. But warranty - it's like there is no warranty. BUYER BEWARE!!!UPDATE: Dec. 21, 2024: Still same problems. LOUD SQUEAKS and the dog hair gets wound around the brushes. You cannot remove the skinny blue roll (a design shortfall since all Sharks have removable parts). Called Shark and told them it's the same problem. They said because I had the problem once they will not cover the head as a replacement part. They said the head of the thing is NOT warrantied! Well, the head and the motor are the two likely things to go wrong - no? Why wouldn't they warranty the head? Isn't there a LEMON LAW if the same thing keeps happening?!
