the nipple works fine, but I don't know if it really does what it's supposed to do. It doesn't appear to really do anything special, but I really can't tell. My baby burps and slurps up milk as she normally does with non-anticolic bottles. It doesn't leak yet, so that's a plus. but I don't know if it really matters to spend the extra money to buy this. It's more difficult to clean the coddlelife nipples as opposed to other brands, and it's quite pricey. I honestly don't think I would buy this again. I have it, so I'll use it, but if I were to do it again, I would buy another avent bottle instead.
