Oticon ConnectLine TV 3.0 Opn

This is one amazing piece of kit. A total game changer for me. I spent years watching tv with the subtitles on & deafening my family. I also couldn't sit down to watch a movie with them as I wouldn't know what was happening.This connected easily via the tos link. I then changed the settings on my tv to 'internal speaker & optical' & also connected my baha aid. This connections were pretty easy to figure out. Full detailed instructions included. I can hear things now on the tv that I couldn't hear for years. Like leaves rustling or somebody breathing.You must have the setting on your aid & your aid supplier should help with this. When I want to watch tv I connect to it by changing the setting on my aid. I can even turn the speaker volume on the tv all the way off & still be able to hear it through my aid but your tv with have to have this sound option available to do this.There were a few people complaining of a tinny sound. I find this can happen too but only if the tv is turned up too loud. So instead of getting rid of it I'd play around with it a bit & get advice before returning it as I can't speak highly enough about this item. Being able to sit & watch a movie with my kids where I can actually be involved with it has been a massive deal for me. Seems like such a small thing but it upset me a lot.Delighted!!!

I like that I can control with the app the level of sound although a bit overloud at minimum, great when wife puts the tv up loud as she’s waiting for her hearing aid. So I mute surround and set hearing aid to adapter so I can for first time here what’s happening in movies clearly, instead of distorted sound. I would recommend the designers have saved setting modes for both surround and reliever-streaming settings as is annoying walking to bathroom, a quarter way through kitchen on way to bathroom it switches to reliever and when I come back to front room it switches back to tv-adapter(streaming) max volume instead of previous setting so not very nice. Worthwhile product to buy for enjoyable movie or gaming experience (although a shame that ps5 doesn’t connect but that’s more Sony then Oticon

I have a Pronto 5 BAHA hearing aid on my left side. This was easy to set up but I had to find the control on Oticon Companion control (pictured). The sound result is incredible, I can hear such things a rustling paper. I can also have it as loud as want my partner can listen through the normal sound system set to her desired level. I can even listen to TV without the normal sound on.A game changer when listening to TV.

Once opened the package I noticed the power lead had no plug with it. Luckily I had one of my own. This was annoying. Apart from this the set up of this equipment is easy and performance sound a joy. I can now hear every minute detail from the TV. No longer do I have to watch the subtitles 😁

Opened package and found Toslink cable and Mini adapter missing then looking at TV 3.0 You could seeit was dirty and been used before . So never got to try it out so its being returned .

Brilliant item, my hubby can hear the tv through his hearing aids and I don’t have to have the tv at full volume now. Highly recommend it

Easy to set up using toslink cable and pairing with oticon hearing aids, can now hear sport on TV whilst on mute so no complaints from partner, plus can also enjoy all programmes with rest of family without having to ask for volume to be turned up.So pleased have now obtained another for the kitchen TV so can now clearly hear sound without having to ask partner to explain what had been said

Loosing my hearing has been a disaster! I’ve tried a few tv adapters to help with various degrees of success but none given me what I needed long term. This Oticon device has been a huge success, not only with the ease of setting up but with the flexibility it gives. It allows you to still have ambient sound capabilities so I still hear people talking to me whilst still being able to hear the tv. It even put an extra item on my phone app that switches between hearing modes, genius! At present no downside! I’ll update you if needed. Great bit of kit!
