I've had the heating pad a little while now, and it does warm up and provide relief to the shoulder areas, but I don't feel the moist heat as I thought it would provide and since this is all enclosed there is no way to place a damp cloth under the fabric. The heating pad does not go down very far on my back, just actually covers the top of my shoulders, and the one thing that concerns me above everything else is that the control panel where the settings are remains warm when plugged up and not in use (which means it is constantly pulling energy), and gets almost hot when it is in use. So, with all this being said, yes, the heating pad works but no, I would not recommend due to this possible fire hazard.

It doesn't fit close to neck so neck does not get heated. It also has an uncomfortable rod like thing that is across the bottom that goes across the back that is really uncomfortable and actually gave me pain as I sat in a chair with a back on to use it. I returned it. It also is somewhat heavy.

Though it was very soft, you only felt the heat at the lowest base of the neck between your shoulder blades. I needed all over heat

Produces good heat along the upper back. The shoulder flaps not so much. Plus, the snap in front to secure the wrap around feature is useless.

I was dubious about the heating pad, worrying that it would slip off. I was wrong, they designed it perfectly. It’s soft with a nice weight so that it hugs your shoulders. I’m very impressed!

Works well and does what I need it for. I’d prefer if the neck part can go higher up on the neck
