Best value boots I've ever bought - I'm 65 and I've bought ALOT of boots!
It's a year since I bought these boots. I don't write reviews the day after or the month after. Boots need a real hammering to find their weaknesses. These have no weaknesses. £32.99? How is this possible? I've walked great stretches of the Dorset coastpath (hard work in places); I've worn them for gardening and I do alot of gardening. I have a small patch of arthritis in one ankle and these boots provide perfect support on the ankle. And here's the most remarkable thing - they are still waterproof after some serious misuse. I mean waterproof, not water resistant. I've spent the morning pressure washing our greenhouse with water running down my overtrousers onto the boots. My socks remained perfectly dry. Now, a word of caution, because these are not Alpine walking boots. The sole is fairly thin and will wear out before the upper (a sign of a quality boot). I'm fairly certain that the boots cannot be resoled (correct me if I'm wrong) so yes, they do have a weakness. But they're not advertised as mountain boots. They are perfect for England's long distance trails like the SW coastpath, and perfect for general outdoors use. I'm ordering a second pair today for more civilised use and will continue to buy them for as long as they're made! Brilliant.

Good quality!!
So to start with here's a bit of background info, I am a dog walker (job), I walk on average (says fitbit app) 200 miles per month. These boots usually last me about 6 weeks (300 miles), I walk on every terrain, rocks/grass/mud/tarmac etc they are comfortable, good sizing, waterproof. The insoles come out easy enough if like me you have specific ones for support however the ones that come with are very comfy. The boot itself stays in intact and waterproof to the end, I just walk through the sole.I have had different boots in previous years some that cost £20 from aldi to some that cost £200 (can't remember the brand) The £200 ones only lasted me about 4 months!!!These boots are great and I would definitely recommend them!! Can't go wrong with the price either!!

Good value for money
Honestly not a bad pair of boots so far, done a couple hours here and there hiking, up some hills and through some bog..fairly comfortable only thing for me is its abit uncomfortable on my ankle, maybe I'm wearing wrong socks? But just feel it rubbing, bearable but could be better...quite waterproof, gave them a full teat straight away in a river and only time I felt water was when the water was going above the top lace..for now a quick cheap pair I'd recommend but I think for proper long distance for a few days I'd stst to dislike them...going to test a couple days hoke.and camp in them soon though!

Absolutely no complaints
I first found these walking boots at a shop in Falmouth 5 years ago and have been using them ever since. They are super comfy, waterproof and keep your ankles secure. I have walked on all terrain, including climbing, but mostly they are dog walking shoes for the winter. They keep yer tootsies warm too. Great value for money and i honestly cannot find fault. highly recommended!

Avoid at all costs
Unfortunately they are not waterproof as advertised, the laces have frayed and snapped, the insoles have worn thin, the heal protection has come loose and after only a week of use I'd already worn out the soles. I'm extremely disappointed, they look the part but just don't measure up. It's Unfortunately because the feel very comfortable straight out of the box, I was initially very happy, but that soon faded.Edit: after less than a month, they are in the bin ! The outer sole has completely disintegrated to the point my socks were visible through the holes. I wore the shoes for 40 minutes a day, 5 days a week, 20 minutes each way to and from work. It would have been cheaper to just wear socks and throw them away at the end of each journey.

Not bad for £30
Got them on the 29th of August, today (22nd of October) they need replacing. Sole wore down as they were used everyday.Durability slightly up from average (which is about 6 weeks).Could buy again if they had better colour choices.Fitting is a bit loose, got worse in time. Very comfortable for the first 2 weeks, not now.
