Perfect for 3M headlight restoration kit
This adapter allowed me to use the sanding disc included with 3M's headlight restoration kit (39008) with my impact driver. It worked flawlessly!

Not just for drill bits, although this speeds that up, too. There are plenty of smooth 1/4" shaft countersinks that are perfect for drilled hole deburring, but don't lend themselves to an existing screw gun investment. This solves all that.

Turn your impact driver to a die grinder
Go from a grooved 1/4" driver to a smooth shank for drill bits or other tools used with an adjustable drill chuck. I use an M18 Impact driver and didn't want to buy another tool to use my hub scrubber for brake jobs. It works well, fits tight and connects with ease. I couldn't find anything else that could replace a tool. That is value! Don't just take my word for it. The worst that could happen: Save some money Keep your wife from complaining about more tools. Get the job done!

Great adaptors. No longer have to buy the expensive hex shank bits. it does have to be very tight to drill in metal, but I mostly use these for wood.

Nice to have when you don't need to put a drill bit in a powered tool. It allows you to just use you hand to turn the bit to enlarge an existing hole or into soft wood.
