Based on the Classic novel by Jack London, Call of the Wild stakes its claim to being that rare breed of adventure series that parents and kids can enjoy together. Adapted by White Fang screenwriter David Fallon and starring Nick Mancuso, this exciting saga introduces Miles Challenger (Shane Meier) a 15-year old boy living in an Alaskan mining town at the turn of the century, whose whole life changes forever when he encounters a heroic and powerful dog named Buck. Review: 🐾 Call of the Wild 2: Foxfire - An Unforgettable Adventure Continues! 🌲 - Call of the Wild 2: Foxfire takes the adventure to new heights with an engaging storyline that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The continuation of the wild journey is beautifully written, capturing the spirit of the first film while adding depth to the characters and the plot. The stunning visuals and immersive soundtrack enhance the experience, making it feel as though you’re right there in the wilderness. If you loved the first movie, this sequel will not disappoint! I would love to receive more products from the company, desertcart, or the vendor to try, as their commitment to high-quality entertainment continues to impress. 🎬 Review: Leaves you wanting more - This is a very enjoyable continuation of The Call of the Wild dvd with Shane Meier. While not a true telling of the London novel these are both very good enjoyable tales for any dog lover. The biggest drawback is the ending of Foxfire makes you say "that's it? that's the end?". My husband and I were both left wanting to see more of this shortlived Animal Planet tv show. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find any dvds of the program that apparently ran from March of 2000 to June of 2000.

How to love a dog.
I love dog stories, because I've never had a large dog that gave me more love and company. I'll probably purchase many more from you. Thank you for making them available.

Not Jack London's Version
Despite having his name over the title, this is not Jack London's Call of the Wild. This is a completely original story about a young man named Miles Challenger--not a character in the original book. The script incorporates characters and incidents from the book, but the story is totally different. However, taken on its own merits, the film is entertaining. Miles is a character young people can relate to, and the film does offer an interesting look at life up north during the Alaska gold rush. Just don't expect Jack London's story, or you will be disappointed.

Pretty good! But...wheres the rest?
This movie ended with to many "loose ends". The overall movie was pretty well done. I wondered why they did not answer some of the questions in this movie until I looked it up and found out that this was part of a thirteen episode TV series that aired on Animal Planet in 2000. This movie was episode 5 in the series. I have only been able to find two of these on DVD. I would like to find the rest.

if this is the nearest film to the book as described in the sales, then I would hate to watch the other attempts.

This is not as bad as it sounds.I don't think they made a novel of a sequel but I think they pulled it off pretty well. This time Buck has a new owner and it takes place sometime after the original. I think fans of the original will adore it.
