Foremost, this is a good product, but I do have some concerns with it. Wheeler Engineering designed in my opinion the best thought out scope leveling kit available. I have a few other wheeler products, including their FAT wrench and a scope lapping kit that included their Level-Level-Level set. I personally think that the extra money I spent on this kit far outweighs the lower price and convenience of the LLL. As far as the product goes, I received it without damage and well packaged. The product is packed well in a hard black case with fitted grey foam supporting the levels. The levels themselves are well machined, with a lustrous gold finish and clear well centered level tubes. The barrel level is well designed, and secures easily to the barrel. A fine leveling knob is located on the top level to ensure perfect indexing. This kit is easy to use, accurate and durable. My concerns arose when I noticed that I wasn't able to get a scope leveled properly with it, and I realized that the smaller, magnetic level has a slight machining defect on the bottom face, slightly skewing the reading. My solution to this was a slight touch up with fine grit sandpaper, and using a permanent marker to designate the which face of the top level will be pointing in which direction. I also have been using a small adhesive color coding label folded in half to keep the top level secured to my scope if it is not a ferrous metal. With those small discrepancies, this product is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. I would certainly buy it again and I will continue to consider buying Wheeler products in the future.

I previoiusly used Wheeler level-level-level system with a bit of frustration. Levels that were not level and didnt even agree with each other. I had to sand the bases to tune them first. I expected this product to be the same but figured I could always return it if it didnt work out but I am pleasantly surprised with the Wheeler Professional Reticle Leveling system. You still need a good system to hold gun but this level system is so simple that I am suprised no one else has marketed something similar to date.. I know of a few products that come close but not provide the ease of use. Basic idea is use the small level on bridge of gun or bottom of scope rings to level gun, then use clamp system on barrel to transfer this level reference. You then can install scope using level clamped on barrel and small level on top of reticule adjustment turret to insure that scope is level to barrel level and tighten down top half of rings on scope. One caution, make sure gun is clamped while torquing top half of rings down and keep watching level during torquing because you can easily move reticule off vertical if you do not torque screws in-pattern. I tend to finger tight all screws and then torque in-pattern about 1/2 a turn on each screw to prevent shifting during assembly. Levels are nicely machined gold anodized aluminum and they are true using a couple of Aluminum capenter levels of known quality. The levels also come in a plastic snap case with foam cutouts to securely hold each level. Nice product, I would definity reccomend this tool as it is cheap enough to own at a level of quality not expected at this price point.

It’s a well-made tool that does what it’s designed to do. I accidentally dropped the small level on my garage floor expecting it to be shattered. Surprisingly it was none the worse for wear.

Was able to easily level my new scope. You can’t go wrong with Wheeler Engineering. This thing is well made and durable.

Wheeler makes some great tools and this is one is no exception. Easy to use, calibrated level making accurate scope mounting a breeze. This is a great value and I highly recommend it!
