Everyone who sees this halter loves it! The name and phone number are in large letters, easy to see--this is extremely helpful and a rare find (note I crossed off the numbers for privacy). The colors are vibrant, yet he is much more dignified wearing this than being walked by his neck. Here are some more details:This is my second time buying this halter, the first one I had for 3 years, and it was my go-to halter yet disappeared during one of Mr. Magick's misadventures--not the halter's fault--in fact, I'm glad he was eventually able to wiggle out of it, I assume he got caught up in some vines. When I ordered another, I thought I would try the large vs the extra large, as the extra large was a wee bit large for the mister (he is 99lbs). Unfortunately, the large I received was a few inches shorter than advertised and thus too small. When I contacted customer service, they sent us an XL quickly and now we are back in business!The "no pull" claim is not accurate in our case, unless it means "no pull on neck". The "D-ring" (where you attach the leash) is on the top next to the handle, this does not stop him from pulling, in our case, a "no pull" would be a D-ring in front. That being said, this halter is quite comfortable on the Madge, and we have been satisfied with the quality and comfort. It does get smelly if it gets wet and is not dried quickly, but that's the case with all of our halters. The handle on top is very handy too!A great halter, at an exceptional price

The customization option is quite nice, and this harness works, fine, but I have a few minor complaints.For one the leash attachment ring is WAY too big. Its large size means that a clip type connector like you find on most leashes easily gets flipped in such a way that it binds "sideways".I've also noticed that on my dog, the harness seems to loosen over time. Not dramatically but after a half dozen walks, the harness becomes loose enough to "rotate" around his body. Also the snap buckles are really big and the main attachment which is on the side can actually impede his left front leg (photo 2), so he starts crab-walking sideways unless I give the harness a little tug to right it. A better design would put the buckle on TOP of the harness where it couldn't hang down. Smartly that buckle has a "locking" tab that makes it impossible to open unless you unlock it.Even though it's billed as a no-pull harness, there is a single (wide) strap around the front/neck, so if my frenchie goes into sled-dog mode he really is pulling that strap against the base of his neck (photo 1). If there was a strap from the middle of that neck yoke back to where the body strap attaches, it would spread some of the load down his chest, but would make it more difficult to put on him.I'd like to have a front pull point. For short dogs a front pull point often doesn't work well because they will step on the leash. But a front connection point is better for training them to follow. A front leash attachment causes them to pull themselves around if they try go a different direction.On the plus side, the straps are wide and the buckles are strong. And the handle is really convenient.I often use the handle (or that overly large ring) with bungee cord in my car to keep my dog in his seat. The bungee also protects him if I have to make an abrupt stop or turn. And of course the handle helps to grab/lift him when needed. The Velcro'd name plates are easily removed. In fact, I took one of the two off and put it on his jacket.Finally, given that the "yoke" area is nice and wide, it's very easy to get on and off my dog, unlike another harness we have which his head can barely fit through and which he therefore strongly resists being put on him.So in summary, it's well built and durable with some minor nuisances but I haven't knocked off any stars because it is superior to the other harnesses we have and it's the one I use almost all the time. It also makes me feel more secure knowing his name and my phone number are bold and easy to see.

Super duper sturdy, very well made, and fit my 60+ lbs Pit Mix perfectly. Took a little getting used to, but she's very comfortable in it and looks dang adorable in it. Only made better by the "Best Friend" patches I got along with it

Love everything about this except the size chart. My Aussiedoodle was on the low end of XL but the harness is way too big.

ought this for my 18 pound min Aussie and I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO REALLY LOVE IT. iT is WELL MADE AND I LOVE the personalization which is priceless. I was even going to order a spare one just in case. BUT here is the issue around the neck area there is velcro and then a clasp. The clasp is too big for her neck BUT after the first week it is now stuck in the closed position and I can't get it open. Luckily I can use the velcro to get my dog in and out of the harness. I love the hook on the top of the harness, well placed. The harness is very easy to get on and off so another plus. The big NO is even with the clasp stuck closed and the velcro if you pull hard the ENTIRE harness comes off of her. The first time she was out by the street and I almost had a hear attack thinking she was going to go out into the road and get hit by a car before I could get to her but LUCKILY she came to me and I carried her inside. I figured that was just a "fluke" but tonight I took her for a walk again and we were by the mailbox and she did not want to come along so I pulled and the ENTIRE harness came off again. I live in an apartment so there are cars coming and going and it only takes one second off a leash for something to happen to her. I purchased the correct size and it fits her comfortably so I don't believe that is the issue. As much as I like everything else about this harness this is a NO GO as I can not risk my dog. I normally do not write reviews but feel like others should know this.
