I searched a long time to find a decently priced damacus bowie that seemed like it would be sturdy. This knife is thick and heavy, so as long as it's not brittle, I think it will hold up. The handle is gorgeous and the knife is handle heavy so the weight stays in your hand. The pattern is quite nice, but there's a section in one of the fullers about a half inch long that has no pattern. So perhaps it got ground out. Overall I think it is a legit damascus blade. Could have come a bit sharper.

I was looking for a present for a buddy of mine and figured a cool knife is always a solid option. Especially because he enjoys cooking and assumed this could serve as some sweet kitchen bling.I gotta say the feel and quality of this is unbelievable. It’s definitely rawer steel than I expected and will likely require some oiling and care. Yet that makes it so much sexier. This is a proper handmade tool that could have easily been made 500 years ago. It has weight, it’s well designed to fit a strong hand and has a wicked edge.This is hands down one of the coolest knives I’ve ever held. Kudos to the craftspeople making these

Beautiful until you look closer. That’s when the craftsmanship issues show up, bent cracks handle separating. Wouldn’t hold up long so I didn’t risk it. Returned.

I'm in Nigeria on vacation. After the first kidnapping attempt I decided I needed a better defense. On Thursday, Oct 14th 2021 another driver tried. Thankfully due to the awesome grip on this blade the assailant was unable to take it from me and in fact this blade did quite a bit of damage to him. The police took it for evidence so I'm ordering another right now. It's a good sturdy blade, great features.

Great looking knife, good and heavy. You need a larger hand for this to be comfortable. 100% satisfied! The knife with the fancy sheath is a real value for the money no question!

Cool looking blade. The handle looks unfinished, the design on the blade nice, but it also seems unfinished, after washing the oil off the blade just looks like it wasn't painted. Some of the black remained again making it looked unfinished. The sheath I can say is the best part of this blade. The knife edge also seems to have rolled when trying to sharpen it. It's not very sharp at all for a new knife. It couldn't even cut a piece of paper all the way through. If this was a display knife I'd send it back. It's going to get put to work so unless it breaks while using it, it's an OK buy. Finish 3 🌟 Sharpness 1 🌟 Usefulness unknown for now overall 2½ 🌟

My husband loves knives so this was perfect! He loves the Damascus steel and the fit of the handle in his hand. Great piece!

Surface of the blade looks etched rather than Damascus. The blade was as full as a butter knife. Steel was over hardened so it was very hard to grid a new bevel and sharpen it.
