The yarn is super soft and has a great drape but it splits terribly and is very hard to use. I’ve had to crochet so slowly but had no choice because I have a project deadline. Also one skein had 6 yarn breaks in it which is very frustrating.

Used the yarn to knit a baby hat. Very soft! Loveeeee

I'm picky about yarn, and this is my new favorite plant-based yarn. It's next-to-the-skin soft with beautiful drape and stitch definition. Because it's washable and non-itchy it's ideal for 'medical type accessories. So far I've made several mastectomy bra fillers/cushions with it, as well as wrist brace covers for a friend, and all turned out lovely and were appreciated by the recipient. I'm sure it would make excellent chemo caps, too, or even just knitted gifts for a vegan friend who doesnt want animal fiber. Lace and cables come out crisp and distinct, I'm starting a spring lace scarf with it now and I can't wait to wear it.My only real complaint is that the balls are loosely wound and tend to get messy and tangled pretty fast as you work. If you want a more stable project that you can throw in your bag, rewind by hand before you start. The yarn is somewhat splintery, but I don't mind it - that's the nature of a low-spin ply like this, and that's what makes it so gorgeously drapy. If you want something sturdier, that's what wool is for. I'm going to keep buying this for all projects where plant yarn is appropriate.

Silky feel, accurate & pretty color. The threads did separate a lot while I was knitting, so I had to pay close attention that I was picking up the whole strand, otherwise it was easy to knit with on my bamboo needles. My boys unraveled a whole skein & made a giant mess of it... this yarn was pretty difficult to untangle.

I love the softness of this yarn! It does split a little when crocheting, but not terribly. Probably trying to go too fast. ;-) Haven't washed the baby dress yet, so not sure how it holds up. The colors are lovely! White, Caribbean Reef, Frozen Tidepool.
