Carry Speed FS-Slim Prime Edition Quick Release Neoprene Sling Strap

This is simply the best camera strap I have ever seen. Get one if you can - you won't regret it.Update: A mixed experience here. As fans of Carryspeed know, this is probably the best camera strap ever made. The design is perfect and the craftsmanship is first rate. However, Carryspeed is having patent problems and their future is uncertain. There are knock-offs surfacing now with variations on the name. Also the Carryspeed website has been pirated. I ordered the strap from Turtleback, Ltd because it was the only source I could find at the time. Delivery from Hong Kong took three weeks, and with shipping the strap cost over $90.00! I absolutely love the strap, but you might not find it worth the hassle.

Very well made strap. My only problem when connected to my Sony A6000 is that I cannot articulate my screen, the mount is wider than my camer, and the whole mount and strap is almost a heavy as my camera and lens. I can see this being very secure for a larger DSLR. I do love the winching method this strap employs when you need to shorten it, one-handed operation and you can quickly switch from close to body, to shooting.

Great product!

Bought one in fall of 2013 and it worked well until a few months ago. The swivel joint has seized on the mounting plate so I can no longer swivel it out of the way to fit in my sling bag or sit in a flat (ish) position on a table. Also have had trouble with getting it cinched just right, but that is probably user-error. Just be forewarned it's not as simple as the Black Rapid or Joby straps.

The quality of this strap/sling far surpasses anything on the market. The quality of the metal components is crazy good, the machining is incredible, the thinking behind the design is light years ahead of others. Quality, quality, quality. I could not be more impressed. Designed and made in the USA. Very comfortable neoprene strap pad, I think the wider strap would be overkill for a DSLR. Why it is not more widely available is a mystery to me

Its very comfortable on the shoulder but i noticed the camera would droop to waist level and just bounce side to side while I'm walking, so i tend to hold my camera with my hand.

It's good while it works. I had this one with my D810 and 16-35mm f/4 hanging on the strap. Do you see 4th photo up there with silver and black part connected? It's connected with a screw. It failed on me and camera fell down on the road. Of course it all broken down. Camera and lens. Don't trust this strap. Just one day, it may fail on you.

The Carry Speed strap certainly allows you to carry your camera in a very comfortable way whilst still providing easy access. I use it with a Canon 70D and a 50-250mm lens and I no longer experience the neck ache I used to when using the Canon supplied strap.Bringing the camera up to take photos is a simple motion and the strap does not get in the way, either on the upward sweep or when resting it back on your hip/waist.I have had no issues with the plate coming loose or the strap becoming detached from the plate, although I do check it every time I get it out of the bag, just to make sure and I have got the secondary tether attached.My only comment is that when you wear the strap over your shoulder it distributes the weight fantastically and, as I said above, it prevents the usual neck ache, but plate and strap together are quite a heavy addition to the camera and I certainly notice it when I am carry my camera bag around.Overall I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to those looking for a comfortable way to carry a DSLR.

This is great for medium format cameras. Beautifully made, give great comfort, secure. Well worth using in action,easy slide stap with base camera fitting and secondary security fitting. Soft Nero rubber shoulder strap that stays in place, spongy action with air holes and extra clips.Good quality ball mounted strap to camera fitting unique to Carry Speed, sprung loaded and lock action, all clips are triple enclosure with barb clip. Stitching is good quality, all meal work is plated for smooth action, anti slip base plate to camera. Do not over tighten the screw it does not need it. I have used this Carry Speed in many applications, I find it faultless. Possibly a little to long on the hip but this can be adjusted.

Having had several straps before and read the review on this strap, I thought I,ll try it out, what a difference this makes, it's easy to use carry's my canon 7d & 24-70 lens comfortably . I highly reminded it.

Good product

Easy to fit to you camera or lens (where your lens has a tripod collar) and very comfortable. Good adjustment to fit and much more practical then a neck strap.
