The product works and the Ethernet port connects with the cable as normal. One issue i haven't resolved is that if i fully close and lock the ethernet port where cable is connected, i lose connection on the cable. But this might be due to me incorrectly installing the cable.

I assumed this was an adapter and I could plug a cord in behind it. Thats not the case. You have to have a stripped wire to feed into the back.

The blades in the connector do not cut through the cables to make a connection, making this product useless.

Like the other stated, the connector won't cut into the wires and make the connection. This is a big waste of money

as will said above the connectors will not break the protective coating on the wires therefore no connection.

Jack doesn’t sever wire to make connection.
