Is this controller for xbox one?

Microsoft (and Sony) don't supply charging cables for their controllers (unless you buy the console in which case you get one with the Console). Microsoft Controllers have switched over to USB-C and they do a plug and charge kit for both types (the oriiginal Micro and USB-C). however I have had very hit and miss results from their plug and charge. I have bought them direct from Mcrosoft and had dodgy batteries which after a few charges fail to charge again or dont hold their charge. The best ones I have found are these: 2 Pack - Xbox One Series X & S Play and Charge Kit Rechargeable Battery - Li-Ion Lithium Ion 1400mAh. They fit the controllers and charge just like Plug and Play, but also have an independed USB connection on the side to allow them to be charged outside the controller, and you get 2 battery pack, and a 1 x 3 - metre cable. £999 is that a mistake? Thats double the cost of the console?

No it just means seller is out of stock. But instead of removing the post and all the info they make the price unrealistic so people know they are out of stock and not to buy. So when they are in stock again they can just adjust the post/price etc rather than making a whole new post with long written descriptions all over again etc . Also means they can keep the reviews publicly as it resets once they make a new sale post. Those other things that some people are saying are just over the top guesses that are conspiracys

Can this controller be used with the Xbox One S?

Yes it works with all previous versions of Xbox Including Xbox One,One S,One X, Series S and Series X

Why doesnt the Venom battery packs fit this they fit the original controller that was supplied with the xbox one x.

The venom ones are for the old controller. Well not the new one with the extra button in the middle. I didn’t realise until after Christmas and had to buy my boys new charger packs for their new controllers.
