They are lined and fit nicely. They look great on him and they are very breathable (he says). We got them for hiking in Hawaii and they were exactly what he needed.

Nice design, pretty shorts, they come off of me when swimming hard, the string is on outside and to small. I might baught too big. I like them even with my eroded. I wish the string was heavyduty. No lining high comfort,drys fast but weak durabily

I had bought swim trunks from the same maker a few times in the past and they fit as advertised, were extremely comfortable and made well. I still have them today and wear them almost weekly. So I figured I'll try more they had to offer. This Star Spangled Banner pair looks great but don't fit the same and just doesn't feel right. I ordered the same size and everything but something is just not right. The mesh is too tight and the leg holes are too small. And the grommets that the drawstrings go through have pulled away from the material and just flop loose on the strings. Just not the same quality as the previous shorts I purchased.

I’m 6’ 1” and 235. I ordered the XXL and are a perfect fit. Actually ordering a couple more pairs. Length is right at my knees , light and very comfortable
