Works as advertised. Easy to set up and use. Easy to see the long, bright lines. I probably won't need to use this too often, so I took the batteries out when I was finished. (I bought this because the laser level that I had before was ruined by corroded batteries. In retrospect, I'm kinda glad it happened because this one is a lot better than the old one.)

Bought it for picture hanging etc at home, and it does what I expected to do, and did it well. Just be aware that you need a tripod to adjust the height of the horizontal line, if you want to use the auto leveling function. The brightness is just right, and I don't see the coverage problem others mentioned, it cover the whole wall pretty well. For occasional home use, it does the job well.

used this to hang 2 mirrors and 1 TV already! Works perfect. The product seems a little cheap looking at the plastic it made of. But it does its job! For this price I think it's worth it.

Very good packaging, auto leveling takes a little getting used to, make sure you stand or surface is sturdy enough for the work you are trying to do.

Worked like a charm on my camera tripod! This made the process of hanging open shelving in our kitchen so much easier and prevented any mistakes. Lines were easy to see. Well worth buying.

Works very well

The pictures they show of the laser line extending like 10 feet in each direction is an absolute joke. The vertical line is a total of 4 feet of which only the center 2 feet are bright. Same goes for the horizontal line. After a foot from the vertex the line gets extremely dim. However, what I can say is that for $15 it is extremely value oriented and usable. I would not hesitate to buy this again because it is built from pretty thick plastic and it seems to be battery efficient. The unit will not turn on until it is more or less parallel with the floor at which time the top led turns green and the unit turns on.Would no hesitate to buy this only for at home small projects. This would be an absolute joke of a product for any bigger project.

This item is great and helped me in leveling the DIY cabinet that I madr for my garage. I tried using it outside during the day for some projects but the laser is not clear enough. For what I paid for it (which is about 1/2 to 1/3 the price for a well known brand) it is okay. I got a defective one with a defective self leveling at first but amazon changed it immediately. Self leveling works perfectly for the second one that I got.
