US Stove's DGK3 is a Replacement Gasket Kit for 1/2 in. gaskets. This gasket kit will also replace any 1/2 in. fiberglass rope gasket on stoves from other manufacturers. The kit contains: 44 inches of fiberglass rope gasket material and adhesive. Simply lay the gasket in the channel on the door, cut to length, and then glue it in with the provided silicone adhesive. Having a good door gasket will make your wood burning stove more efficient and burn cleaner. US Stove has been bringing warmth to homes across the nation for 140-year. First package received had no cement. The replacement came ...
First package received had no cement. The replacement came with a tube of RTV Black, Silicone rubber adhesive sealant. Not the type of cement shown. Brochure states "withstands temperatures up to 1000 degrees, F. Tube of sealant gives temps as -85 to +500 degrees, F. We will see if it will last.

Excellent product. Easy to install
Excellent product. Easy to install. Some tips: measure the channel to ensure you purchase the correct diameter gasket. Do not stretch the gasket as you press it into the glued channel on the inside of the wood stove door. The gasket is long enough for a standard door. Also, make sure the glue is applied in the center of channel. You Tube has some good, simple videos on how to do this properly.

Fits great, works perfect! I would buy this product again if I need to replace another gasket in my wood burning fireplace heater.
