Churchill Blue Willow Large Salad Bowl 9.5"

Good item, but package was packed poorly with 1 layer of thin bubble wrap in a big empty box and very surprised it was not in pieces bouncing around like that.

I* gave this 5 stars because the bowl is definitely Blue Willow. However, if you are looking for a "large salad bowl" this is NOT what you are looking for. My daughter was looking for a Blue Willow "vegetable" serving dish and that is what this bowl really is. You could make a small salad for 2 people in this bowl.

I purchased this bowl as a replacement for one I had that chipped. It was an EXACT duplicate, and for that I was thankful. I did find the shipping charge HIGHLY exorbitant, but didn't have any other option. I would probably purchase again, but hopefully won't have to.

The bowl is a decent thickness and doesn't feel to delicate to stand up to frequent use & washing up.I'm very pleased with it.

Ma fille avait cassé mon petit saladier en faïence anglaise et ce format me manquait... Ce saladier est parfait pour un beau plat pour des crudités pour 4 à 6 personnes. Les finitions sont très soignées. Parfait quand on aime le bleu vintage.
