My driveway has some incline to it and those plastic chocks just didn't seem safe. Since I was having visions of the Shasta careening down the driveway into the neighbors house or rolling over my kids, I decided I was willing to spend a little extra for peace of mind. These are nice and heavy and made of rubber so they grip the driveway. My vintage Shasta is safe and sound! Personally I use these for home only (they are a little heavy) and the yellow ones for campground camping since parking is relatively flat. Highly recommend!Only tip - order these separately from other items. I'm not lowering my review due to this - I love them. Perhaps it was a Friday at 5:00, or someone wasn't thinking, but for some reason they were packed together in a box (mind you they are quite heavy for chocks), then packed in a great big box where their box could move around and beat against the other items. Fortunately nothing was damaged in shipment. Oh, and as one might expect, they smell like tires, which they are of course made of - perfectly fine for your driveway, but perhaps you don't want other items arriving with that smell.

Because my safety is on the line, I wanted a chock that was not plastic, that would not move, and that could hold a heavy vehicle. I looked for quite a while but most of the ones that met my criteria were way out of my budget. This chock was affordable, and meets all my needs. It is quite heavy and you know when you sit it down, it isn't going anywhere due to the rubber. I am obviously trusting my life to this product...how much more praise could I give than that?

Only took off 1 star 🌟 because for me it could be a little bigger. But it's not advertised as being for large trucks and semis. It's totally sufficient size and looks like it's going to be really heavy duty. It is heavy, but that's what I wanted. I'm not packing it with me or I would want a lighter one. It stays 3 feet away from where I park and I throw it under the tire when I park.

I ran it over in a fully loaded 80,000lb truck.

These are great. Unlike some others made of plastic I bought at autozone that did not stay in place well these work well. I use a rubber mallet to whack them into place. They are high, and wide. The curve is appropriate. They are mostly made of rubber and that rubber contact on the bottom also seems to help them stay put. They are pricy and the delivery time is not fast but this is the best example of a wheel chock I have seen. I use it for chocking the wheels of ATVs and vintage tractors while moveing them via trailer.You will not be disappointed.

I use this to move the tandems on my semi is super good and have a strong grip to the floor

This wheel chock is SOLID. Period. Your car or truck isn't going anywhere with this chock. Make sure you buy two though since they are only sold separately.Put the chocks in place, give them a little kick to wedge them in, and get to work! Seriously, this chock is built to last. The handle is super convenient too! I would wager that they are perfect for any car or truck. They work perfectly on my family's 2004 Cadillac, 1999 Mercury Sable, 2003 Dodge Dakota, 2003 Ford F-150, and 2007 Saturn Vue.Don't trust your life to any other chocks -- these are MUST-HAVES!

These are great, got me out of a jam while I was pulling a junky old Dry Van and had to slide the seized tandems to be legal, without these the tires were just skidding behind me. A+

I received these from amazon.ca today. One was in a torn up box, and the other was not in a box at all. They were both rusty (covered my hands in rust handling them) and dirty and the bolts holding them together were cut on an angle and razor sharp (dangerously). I have a feeling that these were pre-used. At over $50 each, this is NOT what I expected to receive. I will have to re-paint them and use a power tool to clean up the sharp bolt edges. I do not recommend these to anyone else. Be very careful handling these if you do buy them.

Great Product

Avoid this product, there's no way to return or get it replaced if you get one that's poorly made. You have a 50/50 chance of getting one that's a dud! Probably better to look elsewhere for one's that are better made. That way you won't get stuck like I was with one not really useful.
