That first image that Amazon features is PRECISELY how the set of chairs will arrive in a big box (along with a minimal amount of foam wrap on each of the metal frames). I readied the first chair lickety-split and was sitting in it to do the others in less than two minutes!Yeah, I read about the weight ahead of time and knew that there would be no assembly required as well, but actually experiencing these details first-hand was still a thrill! I'm not sure what this says about me but, to be honest, I'm cheesing all over again as I type this...For what it's worth, my TinyWifey gave me a dejected look and then got on me for my lack of "style" with this purchase. We live in a small apartment and these are to replace the table's frumpish armchairs-on-wheels that were taking up WAY too much space (and were falling apart). Style, puh-lease. Youth is wasted on the young...To date, though, this is absolutely my best purchase through Amazon! How do I know? Because [1] EVERYONE who has used one has been pleasantly surprised, and [2] TinyWifey just went out of her way to get one of these and set it up IN FRONT OF THE COUCH to play XBox WHILE I'M TYPING THIS! Heh...

Loved the sturdiness of this chair. It was lightweight and stacked well. It wasn't quite comfortable enough, though. Feels like you have to lean back a bit too far to have your back supported. If there was more room between the seat base and the seat back, you might be able to get more comfortable. Additionally, though the Free Return button stated: "Free returns are available for the shipping address you chose. You can return the item for any reason in new and unused condition and get a full refund: no shipping charges," when I went to return it, it was going to charge me $35+ to return it. I had to go through the hassle of contacting Customer Support to get return shipping waived. Be aware. Thanks!

These were purchased for our office and we are very pleased with both the appearance and the comfort of the chair. They arrived quicker than expected and I was very pleased.

I am an acting coach and I often put actors on tape for auditions. We had used a dining chair previously, but wanted to replace it with something firm and grounded. It needed to fit people of all sizes, be fairly compact, and make NO noises.This chair mostly fits our needs. It's a bit wider than I expected, but I like that - I'm a small 5'5" woman and I can sit cross-legged on it if I want to. The back of the chair ends below my shoulders, which is really ergonomic. The legs do not slip or scoot on the floor no matter what. This chair is durable and sleek. It's lighter than other chairs I looked at.For my purposes it's a little tall. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it humps slightly at the front of the seat in the area that goes behind your knees. At my height, it's not possible to sit tall against the back of the seat and have my feet flat on the floor. I end up sitting forward toward the edge when I want my feet flat.Overall, I'm very happy with it. I know it's going to outlast our needs and looks nice in our carefully decorated office. I'd recommend this to a friend who is taller than me.
